HADEETH NUMBER
28:
On the authority of Abu Najeeh al-’Irbaad ibn Saariyah (RA) who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) gave us a sermon by which our hearts were filled with fear and tears came to our eyes. So we said, "O Messenger of Allah! It is as though this is a farewell sermon, so counsel us." He (ﷺ) said, "I counsel you to have taqwa (fear) of Allah, and to listen and obey [your leader], even if a slave were to become your ameer. Verily he among you who lives long will see great controversy, so you must keep to my Sunnah and to the Sunnah of the Khulafa ar-Rashideen (the rightly guided caliphs), those who guide to the right way. Cling to it stubbornly [literally: with your molar teeth]. Beware of newly invented matters [in the religion], for verily every bidah (innovation) is misguidance." It was related by Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, who said that it was a good and sound hadith.
WHAT IS WA'DH?
-it is when you warn someone
-a sermon given to give a stern warning to someone
Da'wah is to preach to a non-Muslim
-but wa'dh is given to invite Muslims
to Qur'an and Sunnah.
-like what the Prophet (ﷺ) gave in this sermon.
The sermons of the Prophet (ﷺ) were
short
-and he disliked long khutbas
'Ammar bin Yasir (RA) reported: I heard Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "Prolonging Salat (prayer) and shortening the Khutbah (religious talk) indicate the religious knowledge of the person. Make your Salat long and your sermon short." [Sahih Muslim (2/594) No. 869]
-but
some people give long khutbas.
-this is not the Sunnah.
The
human intellect cannot absorb knowledge for more than 40 minutes
-this is how long the mind can
concentrate fully.
-long khutbas become boring and make.
-the people go for jumuah few minutes before
the khutba ends.
-so they are going for the salah not the khutba.
…The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) gave us a sermon by which our hearts were filled with fear and tears came to our eyes. So we said, "O Messenger of Allah! It is as though this is a farewell sermon, so counsel us…
When
this happened, the sahabah asked for a counsel
-let us look at the heart
It is
the most important organ of the body
-and because of that there are many Qur'anic verses and hadeeth on the heart
The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, (88) Except him who brings to Allāh a clean heart [clean from Shirk (polytheism) and Nifāq (hypocrisy)]. (Ash-Shu'ara 26:89)
And surely, We have created many of the jinns and mankind for Hell. They have hearts wherewith they understand not, they have eyes wherewith they see not, and they have ears wherewith they hear not (the truth). They are like cattle, nay even more astray; those! They are the heedless ones. (Al-A'raf 7:179)
On the authority of Abu Huraira the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Verily Allah does not look to your bodies nor to your faces but He looks to your hearts," and he pointed towards the heart with his fingers. [Sahih Muslim (4/1986) No. 2564]
...There is a lump of flesh in the body, the nature of which is that when it is sound, the entire body is sound, and when it is corrupt, the entire body is corrupt - it is the heart.'" [Al-Bukhari (52) and Muslim (1599)]
Narrated By Anas: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever said "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a barley grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said: "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a wheat grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of an atom will be taken out of Hell." [Al-Bukhari (44) and Muslim (193)]
The heart of the Prophet (ﷺ) was washed with Zam Zam
-so it was not like our hearts
Have We not opened your breast for you (O Muhammad ((ﷺ))? (1) And removed from you your burden, (2) Which weighed down your back? (3) And raised high your fame? (4) (Ash-Sharh 94:1-4)
'A'isha said, "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not do more than eleven rak'ats (at night) during Ramadan or at any other time. He would pray four rak'ats - do not ask about their beauty or length - and then he would pray four more - and do not ask about their beauty or length - and then he would pray three. I said, 'Messenger of Allah, do you sleep before the witr?' He said, ''A'isha, my eyes sleep but my heart does not sleep.'" [al-Bukhari (3569) and Muslim (738)]
There are people whose eyes are wide open, yet
they walk straight to a calamity
-some
of them marry kuffaar
-this
is because the real blind man is the one blind in his heart
-Allah said:
Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayāt (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allāh in Islām as Muslims). (An-Naml 27:81)
Allah spoke about these people who are blind in
the heart
-some
of you get conned out of your life savings
-even though your eyes are open
They are deaf, dumb, and blind, so they return not (to the Right Path). (Al-Baqarah 2:18)
But Allah praised the believers and their hearts
The believers are only those who, when Allāh is mentioned, feel a fear in their hearts and when His Verses (this Qur'ān) are recited unto them, they (i.e. the Verses) increase their Faith; and they put their trust in their Lord (Alone); (Al-Anfal 8:2)
-so the real blind man is the one blind in
his heart
-and because of this some have their eyes wide open but still walk into a catastrophe and marry ex muslims.com etc.
When your heart is pure, everything about you
is pure
-one day the Prophet (ﷺ) was giving da’wah to the notables of Quraish
-and
they were listening attentively to him
-then
a blind man came and interrupted the da'wah
-this made the Prophet (ﷺ) to frown and turn away
(The Prophet (ﷺ) frowned and turned away, ('Abase 80:1) Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullāh bin Umm-Maktûm, who came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs). ('Abasa 80:2)
-this blind man took his shahada later on
because he was not blind in his heart
-this was why he was able to see the beauty of Islam
This blind man attended jihad on many occasions
-and
he used to carry the flag for the Muslims
-when
Umar declared jihad against the Persians, he was one of the first to turn in
-he was asked to stay home but refused and he died a shaheed in that battle
The Prophet would get up from his seat and give
him to sit
-and would say he was corrected because of him
The Prophet (ﷺ)
when giving khutbas,
his eyes would go red and his voice loud
-and
the sahabah would cry profusely
-because the Prophet (ﷺ) used to speak from his heart
The sahabah said in this hadith that their eyes were filled with tears
…gave us a sermon by which our hearts were filled with fear and tears came to our eyes…
Ibn Abbas (RA) reported that he heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)say, ‘(There are) two eyes that the Fire will never touch, the eye that wept from fear of Allah and the eye that stood guard in the night in Allah’s path.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/175) No. 1639 and Shu'ab al-Eman al-Bayhaqi (3/227) No. 1639]
-when was the last time you heard a Quranic
recitation and you cried?
-or
listened to a khutba and cried
-or heard the story of the sahabah and cried
Some of you live in a concrete jungle
-with music all over, discos, prostitutes
etc.
-it is
very difficult for such to have soft hearts
-this is why the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
Abu Huraira narrated the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “There are seven whom Allah will shade in His Shade on the Day when there is no shade except His Shade: a just ruler; a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic; a man whose heart is attached to the mosques; two men who love each other for Allah's sake, meeting for that and parting upon that a man who is called by a woman of beauty and position [for illegal intercourse], but he says: 'I fear Allah', a man who gives in charity and hides it, such that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives in charity; and a man who remembered Allah in private and so his eyes shed tears.' [Al-Bukhari (660) and Muslim (1031)
The rasool (ﷺ)
cried
-when a child was brought to him who was
dying
-and he said this was because of mercy from Allah
Abu Zayd Usama ibn Zayd ibn Haritha, the client of the Messenger of Allah, one he loved and the son of one he loved, said, "A daughter of the Prophet, (ﷺ), sent a message to him saying, 'One of my sons is dying, so come.' He sent his greetings to her and said, 'What Allah takes is His and what He gives is His. Everything has a fixed term with Him, so she should show fortitude and expect a reward.' She sent to him imploring him to come to her. He got up with Sa'd ibn 'Ubada, Mu'adh ibn Jabal, Ubayy ibn Ka'b, Zayd ibn Thabit and some other men, may Allah be pleased with them. The child was brought to the Messenger of Allah and he was shuddering. The Prophet's eyes were flowing with tears and Sa'd said, 'Messenger of Allah, what is this?' He said, 'This is an aspect of mercy which Allah has put in the hearts of His slaves.'" [Al-Bukhari (1284) and Muslim (923)]
'A'isha reported that Quraysh were concerned with the case of a Makhzumi woman who had stolen something and they said, "Who will speak to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, about her?" They said, "Who is bold enough to do it except Usama ibn Zayd, the beloved of the Messenger of Allah?" Usama spoke to him and the Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ), said, "How can you intercede when it is a case of one of the legal punishments of Allah Almighty?" Then he stood up and spoke and said, "Those before you were destroyed because when a noble among them stole, they let him be, but when the weak among them stole, they carried out the legal punishment on them. By Allah, if Fatima the daughter of Muhammad were to steal, I would cut off her hand." [al-Bukhari (3475) and Muslim (1688)]
...Usama bin Zaid told Allah's Apostle of what he knew about the innocence of his wife and of his affection he kept for her. He said, "O Allah's Apostle! She is your wife, and we do not know anything about her except good." But 'Ali bin Abi Talib said, "O Allah's Apostle! Allah does not impose restrictions on you; and there are plenty of women other than her. If you however, ask (her) slave girl, she will tell you the truth."... [Al-Bukhari (4750) and Muslim (2770)]
-so
the prophet cried when his grandson was about to die
-and
when was the last time you cried?
-you
live in a satanic society
-Allah said:
Then, after that, your hearts were hardened and became as stones or even worse in hardness. And indeed, there are stones, out of which rivers gush forth, and indeed, there are of them (stones) which split asunder so that water flows from them, and indeed, there are of them (stones) which fall down for fear of Allāh. And Allāh is not unaware of what you do. (Al-Baqarah 2:74)
The sahabah's hearts were not hard
-and this hadith tells us that to cry as a
man does not mean you are a wimp
-because even the prophet and his sahabah used to cry
If you cry because you miss your wife or
children, you are not a wimp
-Prophet Yaqub (AS) cried till he lost his sight because he missed his son Yusuf (AS)
Narrated By Anas bin Malik: We went with
Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) to the blacksmith Abu Saif, and he was the
husband of the wet-nurse of Ibrahim (the son of the Prophet). Allah's Apostle
took Ibrahim and kissed him and smelled him and later we entered Abu Saif's
house and at that time Ibrahim was in his last breaths and the eyes of Allah's
Apostle (ﷺ)started
shedding tears. 'Abdur Rahman bin 'Auf said, "O Allah's Apostle, even you
are weeping!" He said, "O Ibn 'Auf, this is mercy." Then he wept
more and said, "The eyes are shedding tears and the heart is grieved, and
we will not say except what pleases our Lord, O Ibrahim! Indeed we are grieved
by your separation." [Sahih Bukhari (2/83) No. 1303]
Many of you complain that your local masjids
invite
-clean shaven people to give da'wah or the
cops
-who ask them to spy and report on the Muslims
-and the imams put you to sleep when they
give khutbas
The mimbar of the Prophet (ﷺ) is
undermined
-how can you use it to preach democracy?
-no
wonder people don’t cry anymore when they go for jumuah
-because
some of you pray behind kuffaar
-they legalized
gay marriage and zina
..."O
Messenger of Allah! It is as though this is a farewell sermon, so counsel
us."...
WHAT IS THE MEANING OF MESSENGER OF ALLAH?
1. HE WAS THE LAST PROPHET
Muhammad ((ﷺ)) is not the father of any man among you, but he is the Messenger
of Allāh and the last (end) of the Prophets. And Allāh is Ever All Aware of
everything. (Al-Ahzab 33:40)
2. HE IS THE BEST PROPHET
Those Messengers! We
preferred some to others; to some of them Allāh spoke (directly); others He
raised to degrees (of honour); (Al-Baqarah 2:253)
Abu Huraira narrated the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)said:
“I am the most noble of Adam’s descendants on the Day of Resurrection. I am the
first whose grave shall be opened. I am the first to offer intercession. I am
the first whose intercession shall be accepted.” [Sahih Muslim (4/1782) No.
2278]
3. IF YOU DIE NOT ACCEPTING HIM, YOU WILL ENTER
HELL TO ABIDE FOREVER
-there is no choice in the matter
-you have to believe in Muhammad (ﷺ)
Verily, those who
disbelieve (in the religion of Islām, the Qur'ān and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be
upon him)) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and
Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.
(Al-Baiyinah 98:6)
It is narrated on the authority of Abu
Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)said:
"By Him in Whose hand is the life of Muhammad, any Christian or Jew who
heard about me and died whilst rejecting me, such a person is in the hell fire
to abide there forever." [Sahih Muslim (1/134) No. 153 and Musnad Ahmad
(2/350) No. 8594]
-so a Unitarian
Christian will still die a kaafir if he does not accept the Prophet (ﷺ)
They asked the prophet to counsel them
...He (ﷺ)said,
"I counsel you to have taqwa (fear) of Allah,...
-and
he asked them to fear Allah
Taqwa is to place between yourself and the
wrath of Allah a barrier
-by
doing what is halal and abstaining from what is haram
Abdullah Ibn Masood narrated the Messenger of
Allah (ﷺ) said:
"Verily the most beloved speech to Allah is the servant's saying, سُبْحَانَكَ اللهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ،
وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ، وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ، وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرَكَ
'Subhanak Allahumma wa bihamdika wa tabaarakasmuka wa ta'aalaa jad-duka wa laa
ilaaha ghayruk.' (Glorified are You, O Allah, and to You is the Praise, Blessed
is Your Name and Lofty is your Majesty, there is none worthy of worship other
than You). The most hated speech to Allah is when a man says to another man, اتَّقِ اللهَ
'Ittaqullah' (Fear Allah!) and he replies, عَلَيْكَ نَفْسَكَ
'Alaika Nafsaka' (Worry about your own self!)" [Shu'ab al-Eman al-Bayhaqi
(2/142) No. 621 and al-Sunan al-Kubra al-Nasa'i (9/313) No. 10619]
-if your Muslim brother says to you fear
Allah
-you should not say ‘be concerned about
yourself first’
The sahabah used to tell each other 'fear
Allah'
-saying
to the person mind yours first means you are proud and arrogant
-you
should say instead JazakAllah Khair
On the authority of Suhail bin Abi Saleh from
his father: ‘A man once asked Abu Hurayrah (RA), ‘What is al-taqwa?” He replied,
“Have you ever taken a path filled with thorns?” The man replied, “I have.” Abu
Hurayrah asked him, “What did you do?” He replied, “When I saw a thorn I would
dodge it or pass over it or behind it.” Abu Hurayrah said, “That is al-taqwa.”’
[al-Zuhd al-Kabir al-Bayhaqi (p350-351) No. 963]
…and
to listen and obey [your leader], even if a slave were to become your ameer…
The Prophet (ﷺ)told
them to give absolute obedience to their ameer even if he is a slave
-because without leadership you are nothing
but a headless chicken
-Allah
said:
O you who believe! Obey
Allāh and obey the Messenger (Muhammad (ﷺ)), and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you
differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allāh and His Messenger (ﷺ), if you believe in Allāh and in the Last Day. That is better and
more suitable for final determination. (An-Nisa 4:59)
The most important word in the ayah above is
'minkum'
-so
the leader you obey is the Muslim
-with
your aqeeda and manhaj; with the same aims and objectives
-so if
the kuffaar invade a country you are not to obey them
-this
is the aqeeda of the Qaadiyani
-they
are suffering from animal stupidity, pathetic insanity and chronic hypocrisy
It has been narrated on the authority of Aba
Sa'id al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)said:
When oath of allegiance has been taken for two caliphs, kill the one for whom
the oath was taken later. [Sahih Muslim, Book 20, Hadith #4568]
...He
who swears allegiance to a Caliph should give him the pledge of his hand and
the sincerity of his heart (i.e. submit to him both outwardly as well as
inwardly). He should obey him to the best of his capacity. If another man comes
forward (as a claimant to Caliphate), disputing his authority, they (the
Muslims) should behead the latter....[Sahih Muslim, Book 20, and Hadith #4546]
-this man is creating fitna and the unity of
the Muslims is fard (above ahadith)
-he wants to create fitna that's why he also
asked to be chosen
DISUNITY IS A GREAT EVIL
Abd-Allaah ibn Masood (RA), who criticized
Uthmaan (RA) for offering the prayer in full in Mina, but despite that he also
offered the prayer in full. When he was asked about that he said: Disunity is
evil. [Narrated by Abu Dawood (2/199) No. 1960]
The Prophet (ﷺ)also
told the sahabah
...Verily
he among you who lives long will see great controversy, so you must keep to my
Sunnah and to the Sunnah of the Khulafa ar-Rashideen (the rightly guided
caliphs)...
WHEN DID THIS FITNA START?
-there
is a hadith that says it was after Umar (r.a) died
-he was
the door stopping the fitna from happening
Hudhayfah (RA) reported that Umar (RA) asked,
“Which of you remembers the sayings of Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)about
fitnah?” So he Hudhayfah said, “I.” He then narrated, “The trial of a man lies
in his family, wealth, children and neighbors (concerning rights attached to
them which he violates). They are atoned by salah, fasting, sadaqab, enjoining
righteousness and forbidding evil.” Umar (RA) said, “This is not what I asked.
I asked about the trial and commotion that will rise like waves of the ocean.”
He said, O Amir-ul-Mumineen (Commander of the faithful), there is between you
and it a closed door.” Umar asked, “Will it be opened or broken?” He said, “It
will be broken.” So, he said, “in that case, it will not be closed till the
Last Hour.’ Abu Wail said in the hadith of Hammad that he said to Masruq, “Ask
Hudhayfah, what is the door?“ He said, “That is Umar (RA) himself." [Al-Bukhari
(525) and Muslim (144)]
WHO WAS THE ARCHITECT BEHIND THE FITNA?
-it
was Abdullah ibn Saba'
-he
was a Jew who tried to do to Islam what Paul did to Christianity
-so he
started the Shi'ite movement
-it is
a Jewish conspiracy that has nothing to do with Islam
SHIA HUJJAH: “Allah often lies and does mistakes”
[Usool-al-Kafi, page 328, Yacoob Kulayni, Vol. 1]
-so
the fitna started during the time of Uthman
-Abdullah
ibn Saba’ caused him to be assassinated
-and
his blood fell on a verse of the Qur'an
…So Allāh will suffice you against them… (Al-Baqarah 2:137)
-Allah took revenge for him
-one of them was stuffed in the body of a
donkey
-they all died one by one by the sword
-from one fitna came another
This is the reality of fitna (one breeds
another)
-Aisha
(r.a) insisted that the killers of Uthman must be killed
-Mu’awiya
refused to give bay’a to Ali
-Ali
put up his caliphate for arbitration and the Khawarij objected
So the fitna of Abdullah ibn Saba' was a
springboard that launched many more fitna
-and
even though Ali massacred the Khawarij
-they
took revenge and killed Ali
-how
can one man create such a fitna?
-the Shi’ites
till today insult and lie on the prophet and do same on Allah
-they
accuse Aisha of having an affair
SHIA HUJJAH: The Shia believe that at the time of
Mahdi’s return Imam Mahdi will resurrect Aisha (Prophet Mohammad’s wife) and
execute the law of Hudud on her, for committing Zina (adultery) during her
marriage. (Al-Anwar Al-Numaniyah, vol. 1, p.
161, Tafsir al-Shafi, vol. 2, p. 108, Haq al-Yaqeen, vol. 2, p. 256,
Hayat al-Qulub, vol. 2, p. 611)
The prophet said to hang on to the Sunnah and
that of the rightly guided caliphs
-they
were 5:
Safinah (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said,
“The Khilafah (Caliphate) will last among my ummah for thirty years. Then there
will be kingdom after that.” Thereafter, Safinah said, “Count the khilafah of
Abu Bakr.” Then he said, “And of Umar (RA) and Uthman, and count the Khilafah
of Ali We will find the total to be thirty years. Saeed said that he told him
that the Banu Umayyah imagined that the Khilafah rested with them. He said, The
Banu Zarqa lie. Rather, they were kings, the worst of kings. [Sunan Tirmidhi
(4/503) No. 2226 and Musnad Ahmad (5/221) No. 21978]
1. ABU BAKR
-ruled
for 2 years
2. UMAR
-ruled
for 10 years
3. UTHMAN
-ruled for 12 years
4. ALI
-ruled
for 5 and 1/2 years
5. HASSAN
-ruled
for 6 months
Therefore these caliphs can introduce something
to Islam and it will be considered a Sunnah
-e.g.
the 2nd adhan was introduced by Uthman
-and
flogging 80 lashes for drinking alcohol was introduced by Umar
-he
also introduced the taraweeh of 20 rak’ah prayed under one imam
So you can pray 20 or 8 rak’ah for taraweeh
-and
you are not allowed to criticise those who do 20 and vice versa
'Abdur Rahman bin 'Abdul Qari said, "I
went out in the company of 'Umar bin Al-Khattab one night in Ramadan to the
mosque and found the people praying in different groups. A man praying alone or
a man praying with a little group behind him. So, 'Umar said, 'In my opinion I
would better collect these (people) under the leadership of one Qari (Reciter)
(i.e. let them pray in congregation!)'. So, he made up his mind to congregate
them behind Ubai bin Ka'b. Then on another night I went again in his company
and the people were praying behind their reciter. On that, 'Umar remarked,
'What an excellent Bid'a (i.e. innovation in religion) this is; but the prayer
which they do not perform, but sleep at its time is better than the one they
are offering.' He meant the prayer in the last part of the night. (In those
days) people used to pray in the early part of the night." [Sahih Bukhari
(3/45) No. 2010]
-the Prophet
(ﷺ) gave
these sahabah the authority
Ibn Taymiyyah said (when refuting the view of
those who quoted ‘Umar’s words “What a good innovation this is” as meaning that
innovation (bid’ah) is permissible): "With regard to qiyaam in Ramadan,
the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) introduced
this to his ummah, and he led them in prayer for a number of nights, because at
his time they used to pray in congregation and individually. But he did not
persist in leading them in one congregation, lest that be made obligatory for
them. When the Prophet (ﷺ) died,
shariah was established (and would not change after that). When ‘Umar (RA)
became caliph, he united them behind one imam, Ubayy ibn Ka’b, who united the
people in one congregation on the orders of ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA). ‘Umar
(RA) was one of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs, of whom the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“I urge you to adhere to my Sunnah and the way of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs
after me; cling tightly to it.” So what he did was Sunnah but he said, “What a
good innovation this is,” because it was an innovation in the linguistic sense,
as they were doing something that they had not done during the life of the
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)i.e.,
gathering to do this, but it is Sunnah in the shar’i sense.” [Majmoo’
al-Fataawa (22/234-235)]
The Qur'an was compiled in the Quraishi dialect
by Uthman
-the
Qur'an was put in book format by Abu Bakr
If the rightly guided caliphs stopped at
Hassan, where does that leave Mu’awiya?
-he
was a king and not considered among the rightly guided caliphs
-but
this kingship was governed by Shari’ah
-look
at Umar ibn Abdul Aziz (r.a); he was a king too
-so if
a person becomes a king and ruled with the Shari’ah, he is not a kaafir
So even though the status quo is kingship
-it
does not mean it is baatil
-what
determines if we accept the leadership or not
-is if
the person governed with the Shari’ah
-when
Hassan handed over his caliphate to Mu’awiya, the prophet praised what he did
Narrated Abu Bakra: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ)
talking at the pulpit while al-Hasan was sitting beside him, and he (i.e. the
Prophet) was once looking at the people and at another time Al-Hasan, and
saying, "This son of mine is a Saiyid (i.e. chief) and perhaps Allah will
bring about an agreement between two sects of the Muslims through him."
[Sahih Bukhari (5/26) No. 3746]
-this brought unity and the Muslims were able
to conquer North Africa
Ma'moon was a Mu’tazilite but;
1. HE BELIEVED IN AL WALAA WAL BARAA
2. HE IMPLEMENTED THE SHARIAH
3. HE DID JIHAD
-these
were the reasons why Ahmad ibn Hanbal did not make takfir on him
This fitna continued during the time of Abu
Huraira
-and
he said to the people:
Narrated By Abu Huraira: I have memorized two
kinds of knowledge from Allah's Apostle (ﷺ).
I have propagated one of them to you and if I propagated the second, then my
pharynx (throat) would be cut (i.e. killed). [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 1, Book 3,
Hadith #121]
What branch of knowledge did he hide from the
ummah?
-the prophet told him the descriptions of all
the characteristics of the wicked caliphs
-and he lived to see them
-so he did not say it
Mansour dragged out the hand of Imam Malik because he refused to work for him and pass dodgy fatwas for him
-he also dumped Abu Hanifa in prison and
poisoned him for same reason
A person invents bid'ah because he thinks Islam
is too old
-like
the man who uses durex to sleep with his wife while she is menstruating
-this
is bid'ah in regards to fiqh
-using
democracy to implement Shari’ah is bid'ah in regards to manhaj
-but
the worst bid'ah is the one regarding aqeeda
Bid'ah in regards to aqeeda is for example
-the
believe that to dismantle the Shari’ah is minor kufr
-or to
insult the prophet (saw) does not make you a kaafir
-or
you cannot make takfir on a man who commits major kufr until he makes it halal
-the
hadith below proves otherwise
Narrated By Al-Bara' ibn Azib: I met my uncle
who was carrying a standard. I asked him: 'Where are you going?' He said: 'The
Apostle of Allah (ﷺ)has
sent me to a man who has married his father's wife. He has ordered me to cut
off his head and take his property.' [Sunan Abu Dawud (4/157) No. 4457, Sunan
al-Nasa'i (6/109) No. 3332, Sunan al-Darime (2/205) No. 2239, Musnad Ahmad
(4/290) No. 18580]
-or no jihad without a caliph
The MADkhalis also believe that joining the UN is
halal
-because the prophet signed the treaty of Hudaibiyya
-they also believe that prophet Yusuf worked
for a kaafir king
-so you can work for the taghoot leaders
And whoever contradicts and opposes the
Messenger (Muhammad (ﷺ))
after the right path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the
believers' way. We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in
Hell - what an evil destination. (An-Nisa 4:115)
-these
people who have bid'ah on aqeeda focus on small things
-they
shout bid'ah to the person walking around with his tashbeeh
-what
are you shouting about when your bid'ah is greater
-because
it takes you outside the fold of Islam
-you
went against the ijmaa of the ummah
Ibn Kathir (rh) said: “So Whosoever abandons
the wise Shariah which was revealed upon Muhammad ibn Abdullah, the seal of the
prophets, and goes to other abrogated Shariah for judgment, he becomes a
Kaafir. So how about the one who goes to al-Yaasiq (man-made law) for judgment
and gives it precedence (over the Shariah of Muhammad (ﷺ)Whosoever
does this has become a Kaafir by the Ijma of the Muslims.” [Al-Bidayah
Wan-Nihayah, (Vol. 13, p119)]
Ibn Taymiyyah (rh) said: “And it is known
from the religion (of Islam) by necessity and by the consensus of all Muslims
that whoever legalizes to follow other than the religion of Islam or a Shariah
other than the Shariah of Muhammad (SAW), he is a Kaafir. And his kufr is
similar to that of the one who believes in some part of the book (Quran) and
reject some of it.” [Majmua al-Fataawa (28/524)]

To learn your aqeeda is the greatest fiqh
-Allah asked the people of bid'ah a question
Say: "Will you
inform Allāh about your religion? While Allāh knows all that is in the heavens
and all that is in the earth, and Allāh is All-Aware of everything. (Al-Hujurat
49:16)
-this
is used to checkmate the people of bid'ah.
