بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
TAFSEER SURAH AS-SAFF
(THE INFIDELS ARE TRYING TO PUT OUT THE LIGHT OF ALLAH)
27TH AUGUST 2013
AYAT 8
يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِـُٔوا۟ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَٱللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ ٨
They intend to put out the Light of Allah (i.e. the religion of Islam, this Qur'an, and Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) with their mouths. But Allah will complete His Light even though the disbelievers hate (it). (As-Saff 61:8)
-Allah (سبحانه
وتعالىٰ)
has made mentioned of His light in numerous places in the Qur’an.
He referred to divine guidance as 'Noor' and also called Himself Noor (light).
-When you hear this verse (61:8) another verse comes
to mind Surah 9:32 is the verse
that comes to mind.
-The Qur'an resembles the Qur'an.
They (the disbelievers, the Jews and the Christians) want to extinguish Allah's Light (with which Muhammad ﷺ has been sent - Islamic Monotheism) with their mouths, but Allah will not allow except that His Light should be perfected even though the Kafirun (disbelievers) hate (it). (At-Tawbah 9:32)
-Allah (سبحانه
وتعالىٰ)
told us the strategies the kuffaar will use to try to put out the light of
Allah (سبحانه
وتعالىٰ).
-They use propaganda warfare (their mouth).
-When they fight you its not just from one front.
-They fight you financially by freezing your assets
and brand you as a terrorist.
-They fight you economically with sanctions and
embargoes also culturally through
Hollywood and Bollywood.
-Then they will fight you militarily.
-They will fight you politically by boycotting you
and brand you as a rogue state.
-Before they fight you militarily they have to
destroy your character by way of propaganda warfare.
-In this case the people will see you as a criminal
and support them against you because
they are successful in destroying your character.
-But all their efforts go to waste because they end up in a quagmire after invading a Muslim country.
-They see Islam as public enemy number one.
-They propagate for the rights of gays and lesbians,
but Islam opposes these evil things.
-The BBC, CNN and FOX News do the propaganda warfare, which is their job.
-These news channels are toxic and so you need to look for authentic news somewhere else.
-Watching these channels may make you a hypocrite because their aim is to water down
things and give Islam and Muslims a bad name.
-They don't call the conflicts in the Middle East the
Muslim-Israeli conflict (for example) instead they call it the Arab- Israel
conflict.
-They choose their words carefully. This phrase gives the false notion that Masjid ul Aqsa belongs to Arabs only.
-Their job is to convince the world that every Muslim
is a terrorist.
-Beware of their narratives because it is toxic and
very dangerous.
-A munafiq has his brain in the hands of CNN, BBC and FOX News so he calls the Mujahideen terrorists and sees the crusaders as heroes even though they are raping Muslim women, killing Muslim kids and stealing our natural resources.
Enjoin you Al-Birr (piety and righteousness and each and every act of obedience to Allah) on the people and you forget (to practise it) yourselves, while you recite the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah)]! Have you then no sense? (Al-Baqarah 2:44)
-They the kuffaar believe in collective punishment.
-Hence whenever a Muslim is accused of committing a
crime, they believe that the 1.5 billion Muslims should pay the price.
-They killed both father and son like they did to Anwar Al Awlaki (rh) and his son. His son was 16 years old and that wasn't terrorism but when the -Taliban blow up a tank with IED that is terrorism.
-You
need alternative news outlets.
-When
the Kuwaiti lady lied and said the Iraqi soldiers dump Kuwaiti babies out of
the incubators and ship the incubators back to Bagdad. -This incubator story
against Sadam Hussein was reported by CNN that news was faked, it was staged
and it finished him off.
-That was the first war against him but the whole world believed the story but when the truth came out the damage was already done.
-The
second Gulf war was based on the lie about WMD (weapons of mass destruction).
-The
people knew that their governments were lying and 1 million UK citizens marched
against the decision to go to war.
-They spent a lot of money to spread propaganda against Islam.
And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e.music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allah, the Verses of the Qur'an) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire). (Luqman 31:6)
-They
use music, cartoons, movies etc to insult Allah, His Rasul and His Deen.
-Salman Rushdie wrote a book insulting Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) and was given knighthood in the UK.
-Irshaad Manji an apostate in Canada insults Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ)
and His Deen.
She
is a lesbian and the heroine of the kuffaar.
-Some
of these people who are born Muslims have an inferiority complex and it is the
first step towards apostasy.
-It
is better for the kuffaar to call you proud than for you to have an inferiority
complex.
-All they do is sneer, smear and jeer.
Verily, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend it; but in the end it will become an anguish for them. Then they will be overcomed. And those who disbelieve will be gathered unto Hell. (Al-Anfal 8:36)
-The kuffaar spend tirelessly but get frustrated
because their monies always go in vain
-The kuffaar lie all the time in ayah 8:36 Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ)
told you that the kuffaar will spend but they will be defeated
-The Taliban were branded as terrorist because they
harboured Al Qaeda
-The kuffaar say that they are one and the same but now they are begging them to come to the negotiating table
-They print leaflets and pamphlets saying that Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ)
is the moon and that Muslims worship the moon. The accusation that Muslims
worship the moon does not make sense.
-The Islamic scholars use the following Quranic verse to refute the liars and the haters who claim that Muslims worship the moon
And from among His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Prostrate not to the sun nor to the moon, but prostrate to Allah Who created them, if you (really) worship Him. (Fussilat 41:37)
-Allah(سبحانه وتعالىٰ)
also called the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) Noor.
-He also called Himself Noor.
Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His Light is as (if there were) a niche and within it a lamp, the lamp is in glass, the glass as it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east (i.e. neither it gets sun-rays only in the morning) nor of the west (i.e. nor it gets sun-rays only in the afternoon, but it is exposed to the sun all day long), whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself), though no fire touched it. Light upon Light! Allah guides to His Light whom He wills. And Allah sets forth parables for mankind, and Allah is All-Knower of everything. (An-Nur 24:35)
-Madinah
is called 'Munawara' because the Rasul is Noor.
-But
this doesn't mean that he is Noor because the Berailvis will claim so
-What Noor means here is his guidance that he brought, his ways, his Sunnah etc.
O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Now has come to you Our Messenger (Muhammad ﷺ) explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture and passing over (i.e. leaving out without explaining) much. Indeed, there has come to you from Allah a light (Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) and a plain Book (this Qur'an). (Al-Ma'idah 5:15)
-He had needs, emotional, financial, and sexual and he also died so he can't be Noor
Was Prophet Muhammad a "Noor" or "Bashar", and is it true that he had no shade, even in light?
Praise
be to Allaah
Our Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) is the leader of all the sons of Adam, and he is a human being, one of the sons of Adam. He was born from two parents, he ate food and married women, he got hungry and fell sick, and he felt joy and sorrow. One of the clearest signs of his humanity is that Allaah caused him to die as He causes all souls to die, but what distinguishes the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from others is Prophethood and Revelation.
Allaah
says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Say (O Muhammad): I am only a man like you. It has been revealed to me that your Ilaah (God) is One Ilaah (God i.e. Allaah)” [Al-Kahf 18:110]
-The light in this ayah (5:15) means his Sunnah
The state of the Prophet (ﷺ) in his humanity is the same as that of all the Prophets and Messengers. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And We did not create them (the Messengers, with) bodies that ate not food, nor were they immortals”[al-Anbiya’ 21:8]
Allaah condemned those who wondered at the humanity of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), as He says (interpretation of the meaning): “And they say: Why does this Messenger (Muhammad) eat food, and walk about in the markets (as we)…?”[al-Furqaan 25:8]
It is not permissible to overstep the mark with regard to what the Qur’aan states about the message and humanity of the Prophet (ﷺ). For example, it is not permissible to describe him (ﷺ) as being Noor (light) or as casting no shadow, or to say that he was created from light. Rather this is a kind of exaggeration which the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade when he said: “Do not exaggerate about me as was exaggerated about ‘Eesa (Jesus) ibn Maryam. Say: the slave of Allaah and His Messenger.” [Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6830]
Moreover, it is proven that the angels are the ones who were created from light, not any of the sons of Adam. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The angels were created from light, and Iblees was created from smokeless fire, and Adam (peace be upon him) was created from what has been described to you.” [Narrated by Muslim, 2996]
Shaykh al-Albaani (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah (458):
This indicates that the well known hadeeth (report) that is in circulation among people – “The first thing that Allaah created was the light of your Prophet, O Jaabir” – is false, and so are other similar ahaadeeth (narrations) which say that the Prophet (ﷺ) was created from light. This hadeeth clearly indicates that the angels are the only ones who are created from light, not Adam and his sons, so pay heed and do not be negligent. End quote.
The
Standing Committee for Issuing Fatwas (religious verdicts) was asked the
following question: Here in Pakistan the scholars of the Bareilawi
sect believe that the Prophet (ﷺ) cast no shadow, which indicates that the Prophet (ﷺ) was not
human. Is this hadeeth saheeh (authentic) which says that the
Prophet (ﷺ
had no shadow?
They replied:
This view is false and goes against the texts of the Qur’aan and the saheeh Sunnah which indicate that the Prophet (ﷺ) was human and did not differ in his human make-up from other people. He had a shadow like any other human. The Prophethood with which Allaah honoured him did not alter the fact that he was human as Allaah created him, with a father and mother. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Say (O Muhammad): I am only a man like you. It has been revealed to me that your Ilaah (God) is One Ilaah (God .e. Allaah)”[al-Kahf 18:110]
“Their Messengers said to them: We are no more than human beings like you” [Ibraaheem 14:11]
With regard to the report that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was created from the light of Allaah, this is a fabricated hadeeth. End quote. Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah, 1/464
-The angels are Noor because they were created from
light.
-The hadith that said that the Rasul (ﷺ) was created from the Noor of Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) is a fabricated one.
Allah is the Wali (Protector or Guardian) of those who believe. He brings them out from darkness into light. But as for those who disbelieve, their Auliya (supporters and helpers) are Taghut [false deities and false leaders, etc.], they bring them out from light into darkness. Those are the dwellers of the Fire, and they will abide therein forever. (Al-Baqarah 2:257)
-The Berailvis and goofy sufis love quoting it
-In Surah 2:257 Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) calls Islam light and misguidance (kufr) as darkness
Is he whose breast Allah has opened to Islam, so that he is in light from His Lord (as he who is non-Muslim)? So, woe to those whose hearts are hardened against remembrance of Allah! They are in plain error! (Az-Zumar 39:22)
-He calls Imaan Noor in Surah 39:22
O you who believe [in Musa (Moses) (i.e. Jews) and 'Iesa (Jesus) (i.e. Christians)]! Fear Allah, and believe too in His Messenger (Muhammad ﷺ), He will give you a double portion of His Mercy, and He will give you a light by which you shall walk (straight), and He will forgive you. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Al-Hadid 57:28)
-He
also called al Hidaaya (guidance) as Noor in Surah 57:28
-In
conclusion I say, those who follow the Noor (Al Islam) with sincerity in the
dunya
-Allah
(سبحانه
وتعالىٰ)
will give you light in the hereafter to cross the sirat
-But if you turn away from the Noor in the dunya then you will have no light in the hereafter
On the Day when the hypocrites’ men and women will say to the believers: "Wait for us! Let us get something from your light!" It will be said: "Go back to your rear! Then seek a light!" So a wall will be put up between them, with a gate therein. Inside it will be mercy, and outside it will be torment." (Al-Hadid 57:13)
(The hypocrites) will call the believers: "Were we not with you?" The believers will reply: "Yes! But you led yourselves into temptations, you looked forward for our destruction; you doubted (in Faith); and you were deceived by false desires, till the Command of Allah came to pass. And the chief deceiver (Satan) deceived you in respect of Allah." (Al-Hadid 57:14)
-When
the hypocrites say that they were with the believers
-It means that they used to come to the Masjid for Jumuah, Eid etc but they allow themselves to be carried away by the temptations of the dunya.
