Tafsir Al Qur'an Surah 114. An Nas [notes]

  بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

TAFSEER SURAH NAS

AUGUST 12, 2014 - SHAWAAL 15 1435 HIJRI

AYAH 1 TO 6

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ

Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind, "The King of mankind, "The Ilah (God) of mankind, "From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one's heart after one remembers Allah), "Who whispers in the breasts of mankind, "of jinns and men." (An-Nas 114:1-6)

- The Scholars of Islam differ among themselves as where this Surah was revealed.
- The popular opinion is that, this Surah was revealed in Madina.
- This is because the Prophet (ﷺ) used this Surah to cure, himself from black magic.
- The black magic was on the Prophet (ﷺ) was afflicted with, which took place in Madina.

It was narrated that Uqbah bin Amr said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'some verses were revealed to me tonight, the like of which has never been seen: "Say: I seek refuge with (Allah), the Lord of the daybreak." And "Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind.'"  (Sunan an-Nasa'i: (954), and Vol: 2, Book 11, Hadith 955)

The Hadith of Utbah Ibn Amr is the evidence the Scholars use to state that Surah Naas was revealed in Medina even though Hasan Al Basri states it was revealed in Makkah. [Some, such as Imam al-Hasan al-Basri (RH), Ikrimah ibn Abi Jahl (RA), Wasil ibn ‘Ata (RH), and Jabir bin Zaid al-‘Azdi (RH) are of the opinion that the two Surahs are Makki (revealed in Makkah)]                                        

Abdullah ibn Abbas (RA) supports the same view, but there is another tradition from him saying that the surah is Madina (revealed in Madinah) and Qatadah bin al-Nu’man (RA) and Abdullah ibn az-Zubair (RA) share this view as well.

This view is further supported by a Hadith in which ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir (RA) narrates how the Prophet (ﷺ) told him that on that particular day these surahs had been revealed to him (Sahih Muslim Book 4 Chapter. 136 Hadith: 1774)

- The Hadith of Uqbah Ibn Amir (RA) is the evidence the Scholars use to state that this Surah Naas was revealed in Madina, even though Hasan Al Basri (RH) states it was revealed in Makkah.

- This Surah is called SURAH NAAS.
- NAAS is the plural of INSAAN.

- INSAAN means a human being, and NAAS means Mankind.
- This Surah is also called Naas MANKIND.
- Ibn Abbass (RA) said Insan means the person, who is very forgetfulness.

- Ibn Abbas (RA) commented on the worked INSAAN by saying INSAAN means: the person is very forgetful.

Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that Ibn `Abbas said, “Verily, man was named Insan only because he was given a covenant, but he forgot it (Nasiya).” `Ali bin Abi Talhah reported the same from Ibn `Abbas. Mujahid and Al-Hasan said that he forgot means, “He abandoned it. [Tafseer Ibn Kathir in the Story of Adam and Iblis]

- Due to the fact that Mankind is forgetful by nature,

- The longest Ayah in the Qur’an mentions to record the monetary loans; you give by writing it down.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Baqarah verse 282

O you who believe! When you contract a debt for a fixed period, write it down.  (Al-Baqarah 2:282)

- Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) commanded us to write it down in a clear record; when we lend or borrow money.

- We do not forget our obligations or assets.

- Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) has honoured Bani Adam with many blessings.

HOW DID ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) HONOUR BANI AADAM

HONOUR # 1 - ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) CREATED AADAM (AS) WITH HIS TWO HANDS

Mujahid narrated Abdullah ibn Umar (RA) said: “Allah created four things with His Hand;

1. The Throne

2. The Pen

3. Adams and

4. The paradise of ‘Adn

He then said to the rest of the creation ‘Kun’ [Be] and it was.”

[Adh Dhahabi in ‘Mukhtasar al-‘Uluw’ (p105), Abu al-Shaikh al-Asbahani in 'al-‘Adhuma' (5/1555), Tafsir al-Tabari (21/239), ‘The chain is authentic according to the conditions of Muslim.’]

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Sad verse 75

(Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands? Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the highly exalted?" (Sad 38:75)

HONOUR # 2 - ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) BLEW INTO AADAM (AS) A SOUL:

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Hijr verse 29

"So, when I have fashioned him completely and breathed into him (Adam) the soul which I created for him, then fall (you) down prostrating yourselves unto him." (Al-Hijr 15:29)

HONOUR # 3 - ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) TAUGHT AADAM (AS) THE NAMES OF EVERYTHING BY GIVING HIM KNOWLEDGE:

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Baqarah verse 31

And He taught Adam all the names (of everything) , then He showed them to the angels and said, "Tell Me the names of these if you are truthful." (Al-Baqarah 2:31)

HONOUR # 4 - ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) PLACED AADAM (AS) IN HEAVEN TO LIVE

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Baqarah verse 35

And We said: "O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the Zalimun (wrong-doers)." (Al-Baqarah 2:35)

HONOUR # 5 - ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) COMMANDED THE ANGELS TO BOW DOWN TO AADAM (AS)

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Baqarah verse 34

And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves before Adam." And they prostrated except Iblis (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allah). (Al-Baqarah 2:34)

- Other ayah that Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) is speaking about is Surah Hijr.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah l5 Hijr verse 28 to 29

And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man (Adam) from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud. "So, when I have fashioned him completely and breathed into him (Adam) the soul which I created for him, then fall (you) down prostrating yourselves unto him." (Al-Hijr 15:28-29)

HONOUR # 6 - ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) MADE BANI AADAM HIS KHALIFAH ON EARTH

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Baqarah verse 30

And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Verily, I am going to place (mankind) generations after generations on earth." They said: "Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, while we glorify You with praises and thanks (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners) and sanctify You. "He (Allah) said: "I know that which you do not know." (Al-Baqarah 2:30)

HONOUR # 7 - ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) GAVE BANI AADAM A BRAIN AND IT IS SUPERIOR TO ALL CREATION

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Anfal verse 22

Verily! The worst of (moving) living creatures with Allah are the deaf and the dumb, those who understand not (i.e. the disbelievers). (Al-Anfal 8:22)

- Mankind has been able to innovate and engineer all sorts of conveniences for our comfort on Earth.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Mulk verse 9 to 10

They will say: "Yes; indeed, a warner did come to us, but we belied him and said: 'Allah never sent down anything (of revelation), you are only in great error.'" And they will say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we would not have been among the dwellers of the blazing Fire!" (Al-Mulk 67:9-10)

- The people who end up in the Hell Fire will exclaim that if only they had used their brain, they would not end up in this situation.

- Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said the worst of creation is the one that does not use their AQL.

HONOUR # 8 - ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) GAVE MANKIND SHYNESS AND CLOTHING TO COVER OURSELVES

- INSAAN is supposed to be respectable and honoured, so if you walk on Earth without clothing, you must be a mad person.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al A'raf verse 27

O Children of Adam! Let not Shaitan (Satan) deceive you, as he got your parents [Adam and Hawwa (Eve)] out of Paradise, stripping them of their raiments, to show them their private parts. Verily, he and Qabiluhu (his soldiers from the jinns or his tribe) see you from where you cannot see them. Verily, We made the Shayatin (devils) Auliya' (protectors and helpers) for those who believe not. (Al-A'raf 7:27)

Baz ibn Hakim reported from his father who from his grandfather that he asked the Prophet (ﷺ): 'from whom they should conceal their awrah and from whom not?' He said, “Guard your awrah except from your wife and what your right hand possesses (female slaves).” He asked, “O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) what when people are with each other?” He said, “If it is possible that no one may observe your private parts, see that none sees them.” He asked, “O Prophet (ﷺ) of Allah what if one of us is alone?” He said, “But Allah has more right that people should be ashamed before Him.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (5/97) No. 2769, Sunan Abu Dawud (4/40) No. 4017, Musnad Ahmad (5/3) No. 20046]

- Mankind is not allowed to show their private parts to anyone except their wives or right hand possessed.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Mu'minun verse 5 to 7

And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors; (Al-Mu'minun 23:5-7)

- As for your right hand possessed you can have sexual relations without marriage.

- This is Sunnah.

- If you can't cope with ISLAM, take it up with ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) on Judgement Day.
- Do not blame the Scholars for speaking the truth. ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) is the ONE who revealed the QURAN.
- People are complaining that Islamic State Mujahideen are having sexual relations with women and they have captured from disbelieving communities.

- This is the right given to the Mujahideen by Islam.

- The Right Hand Posses are given food clothing and shelter.
- The Right Hand Posses are given food clothing and shelter as their rights.

HONOUR # 9   ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) GAVE MANKIND A CONSCIENCE

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Ash Shams verse 7 to 8

And by Nafs (Adam or a person or a soul, etc.), and Him Who perfected him in proportion; Then He showed him what is wrong for him and what is right for him; (Ash-Shams 91:7-8)

- In the above-mentioned ayah, ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) has said that he has given every human being the ability to differentiate between the good and the bad (Truth & Falsehood).

HONOUR # 10 - ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) MADE ALL OF MANKIND BORN MUSLIMS

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Ar Rum verse 30

So set you (O Muhammad ﷺ) your face towards the religion of pure Islamic Monotheism Hanifa (worship none but Allah Alone) Allah's Fitrah (i.e. Allah's Islamic Monotheism), with which He has created mankind. No change let there be in Khalq­illah (i.e. the Religion of Allah Islamic Monotheism), that is the straight religion, but most of men know not. (Ar-Rum 30:30)

Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger said, “Every child is born on the religion (of Islam). Then his parents make him a Jew, a Christian or a polytheist.” Someone said, “O Messenger of Allah, (what about) those who die before (their parents convert them)?” He said, “Allah knows best what they would have done (if they had survived).” [Al-Bukhari: (8/82) (6599) and Muslim (2658]

HONOUR # 11 - ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) MADE MANKIND THE MASTERPIECE OF HIS CREATION

-  Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) made Mankind the most handsome and the noblest of all His creation.

Allah سبحانه وتعالى said in the Qur'an Surah At Tin verse 1 to 4

By the fig, and the olive, By Mount Sinai, And by this city of security (Makkah), Verily, We created man of the best stature (mould), (At-Tin 95:1-4)

- Iblis rejected, was extremely jealous when Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) created Adam (AS) because he taught ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) gave him a raw deal.

HONOUR # 12 - ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) GAVE YOU HIS MERCY

- Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) has put Mercy in the hearts of Mankind.
- When a Lion takes over a pride, he kills all the cubs from the previous leader.
- However, when a man marries women with children, he manages to accept her with her children and takes care of them.
- This is because ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) blessed Mankind with Mercy.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah AR RUM verse 21

And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect. (Ar-Rum 30:21)

- Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) has put mercy in the hearts of Husbands and Wives.
- Even prostitutes have mercy in their hearts.

Narrated by Abu Huraira the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "A prostitute was forgiven by Allah because passing by a panting dog near a well and seeing that the dog was about to die of thirst, she took off her shoe, and tying it with her head-cover she drew out some water for it So, Allah forgave her because of that" [Sahih Bukhari (4/130) No. 3321]

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THE WORD RABB?

- The Word RABB means the only Lord; ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) is the only Lord.
- This Ayah represents TAWHEED AR RUBBUBIYYAH.
- Tawheed Ar Rububiyah means Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) is the only RABB.
- This means you only allowed, to seek Refuge with ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى).

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Jinn verse 6

'And verily, there were men among mankind who took shelter with the masculine among the jinns, but they (jinns) increased them (mankind) in sin and disbelief. (Al-Jinn 72:6)

- The pagan Arabs used to seek refuge with the JINN.

- Seeking refuge in anything besides Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) takes you outside the fold of ISLAM.
- The word RABB means; the ONE in whose Hands is the DOMINION. 

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Mulk verse 1

Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion, and He is Able to do all things. (Al-Mulk 67:1)

- The word RABB also means; the ONE who gives LIFE and DEATH.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Mulk verse 2

Who has created death and life, that He may test you which of you is best indeed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving; (Al-Mulk 67:2)

- The RABB also means the ONE and ONLY CREATOR.

- Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said that the greatest scientist on Earth could not even create a House Fly.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Hajj verse 73

O mankind! A similitude has been coined, so listen to it (carefully): Verily! Those on whom you call besides Allah, cannot create (even) a fly, even though they combine together for the purpose. And if the fly snatched away a thing from them, they would have no power to release it from the fly. So weak are (both) the seeker and the sought. (Al-Hajj 22:73)

- When the Mutalilites say that Man creates His own actions, they have nullified Tawheed Ar Rububiyyah.

- Even the Pagan Arabs who were deep in their SHIRK, acknowledged that ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) is the ONE and ONLY CREATOR.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Luqman verse 25

And if you (O Muhammad ﷺ) ask them: "Who has created the heavens and the earth," they will certainly say: "Allah." Say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah!" But most of them know not. (Luqman 31:25)

- The word RABB means that ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) is the ONE and ONLY provider.

- Only HE is the SUSTAINER and the PROVIDER.
- If HE withholds the rain then who will send it down for your sustenance.
- The word RABB also means that ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) is the owner of everything in the HEAVENS and in the EARTH.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Baqarah verse 116 to 117

And they (Jews, Christians and pagans) say: Allah has begotten a son (children or offspring). Glory be to Him (Exalted be He above all that they associate with Him). Nay, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth, and all surrender with obedience (in worship) to Him. The Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it : "Be!" - and it is. (Al-Baqarah 2:116-117)

- The word (RABB) Lord also means that Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) subjugates everything in the Heavens and the Earth.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Ra'd verse 2

Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that you can see. Then, He Istawa (rose above) the Throne (really in a manner that suits His Majesty). He has subjected the sun and the moon (to continue going round)! Each running (its course) for a term appointed. He regulates all affairs, explaining the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in detail, that you may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord. (Ra'd 13:2)

- Therefore; when the SHIA claims that the Sun, Moon and the Stars are subservient to their Imams, they go against Tawheed Ar Rububiyyah.

- This is the reason why the Islamic State cannot take JIZYA from the SHIA. You either accept ISLAM or die.

The spiritual status of the imam is the universal divine vice-gerency that is sometimes mentioned by the imams (peace be upon them). It is a vice-gerency pertaining to the whole of creation, by virtue of which all the atoms in the universe humble themselves before the holder of authority (imams). It is one of the essential beliefs of our Shia school that no one can attain the spiritual status of the imams, not even the cherubim or the prophets. - The SHIA IMAM's have a GOD COMPLEX

"Certainly, the Imam has a dignified station, a lofty rank, a creational caliphate, and a sovereignty and mastery over all the atoms of creation. It is definitely a basic belief in our school of thought, that our Imams occupy a station unattainable by either an angel or a major Prophet. [Khomeini: "Al-Hukumah Al-Islamiyyah" Page 52]

- Their Aqeedah sounds like something coming out of a Comic Book.
- Their ideology is KUFR, SHIRK and ZANDAQA.

ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) IS THE REAL KING

- Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) Is the King of Mankind

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "On the Day of Resurrection Allah will hold the whole earth and fold the heaven with His right hand and say, 'I am the King: where are the kings of the earth?" ' [Al-Bukhari: (9/98) Hadith (7382) & Sahih Al Bukhari: (9/93) Hadith: 479 and Muslim (2787) & Book 52 Hadith 6, & Muslim: (39/1) Hadith: 6703]

- The Quran states that KINGS whenever they enter a land, they corrupt it.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah An Naml verse 34

She said: "Verily! Kings, when they enter a town (country), they despoil it and make the most honourable amongst its people low. And thus, they do. (An-Naml 27:34)

- A Madhkhali will say that Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) did not say that rather BILQIS did.

- We refute them by saying that Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) gave her speech a rubber stamp of approval by saying thus they do it the same.

- As for the claim that SULAIMAN (AS) was a king and therefore kingship is still a valid from of Islamic leadership, this is false, because we do not believe in the SHARIA of DAVID (AS) and SULAIMAN (AS) but we believe in the SHARIA of RASOOL ALLAH (ﷺ)

Narrated By Sad: Allah's Apostle set out for Tabuk, appointing 'Ali as his deputy (in Medina). 'Ali said, "Do you want to leave me with the children and women?" The Prophet said, "Will you not be pleased that you will be to me like Aaron to Moses? But there will be no prophet after me."[Sahih Bukhari, Vol 5, Book 59, Hadith #700]

- The Prophet (ﷺ) left behind after him CALIPHS, not Kings and Prophets

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The Israelis used to be ruled and guided by prophets: Whenever a prophet died, another would take over his place. There will be no prophet after me, but there will be Caliphs who will increase in number." The people asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What do you order us (to do)?" He said, "Obey the one who will be given the pledge of allegiance first. Fulfil their (i.e. the Caliphs) rights, for Allah will ask them about (any shortcoming) in ruling those Allah has put under their guardianship." (Sahih Al Bukhari: (4/56) Hadith 661) & Bukhari: (4/60) Hadith: 3455)

ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) IS THE GOD OF MANKIND

- This ayah means that only ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) deserves to be worshipped and that every other deity is fake and false.

- Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) gave you the natural instinct to accept that He is the Only True God.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah An Nisa verse 48

Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases, and whoever sets up partners with Allah in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin. (An-Nisa 4:48)

 - Because of this natural instinct that Mankind is endowed with, the sin of SHIRK is unforgivable.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah An Naml verse 34

She said: "Verily! Kings, when they enter a town (country), they despoil it and make the most honourable amongst its people low. And thus, they do. (An-Naml 27:34)

- A Madhkhali will say that Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) did not say that rather BILQIS did.
- Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) will forgive any SIN if you make Repentance before you DIE, including SHIRK.

- However, if you die in a state of SHIRK then there is no hope for you.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah At Tawbah verse 113

It is not (proper) for the Prophet and those who believe to ask Allah's Forgiveness for the Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, pagans, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) even though they be of kin, after it has become clear to them that they are the dwellers of the Fire (because they died in a state of disbelief). (At-Tawbah 9:113)

- Because of this natural instinct of worshipping Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) alone, nullifies the excuse of ignorance and therefore SHIRK is unforgivable.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Ahzab verse 66 to 67

On the Day when their faces will be turned over in the Fire, they will say: "Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger (Muhammad ﷺ)." Our Lord! give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse!" And they will say: "Our Lord! Verily, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us from the (Right) Way. (Al-Ahzab 33:66-67)

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Baqarah verse 166 - 167

When those who were followed, disown (declare themselves innocent of) those who followed (them), and they see the torment, then all their relations will be cut off from them. And those who followed will say: "If only we had one more chance to return (to the worldly life), we would disown (declare ourselves as innocent from) them as they have disowned (declared themselves as innocent from) us." Thus, Allah will show them their deeds as regrets for them. And they will never get out of the Fire. (Al-Baqarah 2:166-167)

- The Scholars use the above ayah to clarify that you cannot blame anyone else except yourselves if you commit Shirk.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Baiyinah verse 1

Those who disbelieve from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and among Al-Mushrikun, were not going to leave (their disbelief) until there came to them clear evidence. (Al-Baiyinah 98:1)

- ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) made TAKFEER on the JEWS and the CHRISTIANS and the PAGANS before the evidence of TAWHEED came to them.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Ankabut verse 65

And when they embark on a ship, they invoke Allah, making their Faith pure for Him only, but when He brings them safely to land, behold, they give a share of their worship to others. (Al-'Ankabut 29:65)

- This is because, it is your natural instinct to worship Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) alone and there is no excuse of ignorance for worshipping a false deity even the pagan Arabs called upon ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) alone when they were about to drown.

- When the Angel of Death was knocking on their door, they recalled their natural instincts.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Ar Rum verse 30                                                            

So set you (O Muhammad ﷺ) your face towards the religion of pure Islamic Monotheism Hanifa (worship none but Allah Alone) Allah's Fitrah (i.e. Allah's Islamic Monotheism), with which He has created mankind. No change let there be in Khalq­illah (i.e. the Religion of Allah Islamic Monotheism), that is the straight religion, but most of men know not. (Ar-Rum 30:30)

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al A'raf verse 172 to 173

And [mention] when your Lord took from the children of Adam - from their loins - their descendants and made them testify of themselves, [saying to them], "Am I not your Lord?" They said, "Yes, we have testified." [This] - Lest you should say on the day of Resurrection, "Indeed, we were of this unaware." (Al-A'raf 7:172) Sahih International

Or lest you should say: "It was only our fathers afortime who took others as partners in worship along with Allah, and we were (merely their) descendants after them; will You then destroy us because of the deeds of men who practised Al-Batil (i.e. polytheism and committing crimes and sins, invoking and worshipping others besides Allah)?" (Tafsir At-Tabari). (Al-A'raf 7:173)

- The above Ayah is a knockout punch against the wicked scholars who claim that ignorance is an excuse for SHIRK

Narrated from Anas (RA) that a man said: “O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), where is my father?” He said: “In Hell.” When he turned away, he called him back and said: “My father and your father are in Hell.” (Muslim: (1/86) Hadith 398)

"Suhail said to the Prophet "Please conclude a peace treaty with us." So, the Prophet called the clerk and said to him, "Write: بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ 'Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem' (In the Name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful)." Suhail said, "As for الرَّحْمَنِ 'ar-Rahman (Beneficent), by Allah, I do not know what it means. So write: بِاسْمِكَ اللهُمَّ 'Bismika Allahumma' (By Your Name O Allah)" [Al-Bukhari (2731) and Muslim (1784)]

- In the above-mentioned Hadith, Suhail Ibn Amr (RA) of the Quraish Tribe, came to sign the

TREATY of HUDAIBIYYAH, and when the Prophet (ﷺ) put AR RAHMAN and AR RAHEEM, Suhail, objected saying; he only knew "ONE GOD ALONE".

- Suhail Ibn Amr was a PAGAN, however when it came to signing the historic TREATY of HUDAIBIYYAH, he went back to his natural instincts.

- This proves that it is our natural instinct to worship ONE GOD.

WHY THE SHAITAAN IS CALLED THE RETREATING WHISPERER.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah An Nas verse 4

From the evil of the retreating whisperer (An-Nas 114:4) Sahih International

- The Shaitaan is called the retreating whisperer because he knows when you are making DHIKR and he knows who is not making DHIKR.

- Therefore; when Shaitaan find said person making DHIKR, Shaitaan retreats from him and tries to seduce someone else.

- DHIKR drives the Shaitaan away and DHIKR keeps the Shaitaan at bay.

- The Prophet (ﷺ) said everyone has a companion SHAYTAAN.
- This Shaitaan is called QAREEN.

Abdullah b. Mas'ud reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: There is none amongst you with whom is not an attached from amongst the jinn (devil). They (the Companions) said: Allah's Messenger, with you too? Thereupon he said: Yes, but Allah helps me against him and so I am safe from his hand, and he does not command me but for good. (Sahih Muslim: (39/14) Hadith: 6757) & (2814)

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Az Zukhruf verse 36

And whosoever turns away (blinds himself) from the remembrance of the Most Beneficent (Allah) (i.e. this Qur'an and worship of Allah), We appoint for him Shaitan (Satan ­ devil) to be a Qarin (an intimate companion) to him. (Az-Zukhruf 43:36)

- In the above-mentioned Ayah Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) reminded us that when you abandon His Dhikr, Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) will appoint a Shaitaan your companion (Qareen).

- When people do not do DHIKR, they hear voices and become schizophrenic.

- In Surah An NAAS explains to us why we hear voices in the following ayah.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah An Nas verse 5 to 6

"Who whispers in the breasts of mankind, "Of jinns and men." (An-Nas 114:5-6)

- The Kafir scientist will tell you that you are "schizophrenic" if you hear voices, this is because he is ignorant and they claim it is a chemical imbalance in the brain.

- They cannot diagnose you correctly, because they are not spiritual and the hearing of voices is a spiritual problem.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Ra'd verse 28

Those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism), and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah, Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest. (Ra'd 13:28)

- Only Dhikr of Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) can make you have self-contentment and People hear voices because they forget Allah (سبحانه وتعالى).

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Ta Ha verse 124 to 126

"But whosoever turns away from My Reminder (i.e. neither believes in this Qur'an nor acts on its orders, etc.) verily, for him is a life of hardship, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection." He will say:"O my Lord! Why have you raised me up blind, while I had sight (before)." (Allah) will say: "Like this, Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) came unto you, but you disregarded them (i.e. you left them, did not think deeply in them, and you turned away from them), and so this Day, you will be neglected (in the Hell-fire, away from Allah's Mercy)." (Ta-Ha 20:124-126)

- If you forget Allah (سبحانه وتعالى), then Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) will forget you.

- If you ignore the Quran verse in the Dunya, you will turn blind on the Day of Judgement; Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) will resurrect you BLIND.

- The way you treat Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) in the Dunya, ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) will treat you the same way on the Day of Judgement.

THE SHAYTAAN WHISPERS IN YOUR HEARTS AND ALSO RUNS IN YOUR VEINS

Narrated By 'Ali bin Al-Husain: From Safiya, the Prophet's wife, The wives of the Prophet were with him in the mosque (while he was in Itikaf) and then they departed and the Prophet said to Safiya bint Huyai, "Don't hurry up, for I shall accompany you," (and her dwelling was in the house of Usama). The Prophet went out and in the meantime two Ansari men met him and they looked at the Prophet and passed by. The Prophet said to them, "Come here. She is (my wife) Safiya bint Huyai." They replied, "Subhan Allah, (How dare we think of evil) O Allah's Apostle! (we never expect anything bad from you)." The Prophet replied, "Satan circulates in the human being as blood circulates in the body, and I was afraid lest Satan might insert an evil thought in your minds." (Sahih Bukhari, (3/33), Hadith #254) & (Bukhari: (3/33) Hadith (2039)

- The Satan runs in your veins it is easy for you to suspect others.

- This is why many men accuse their women of having an affair.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al An'am verse 112

And so We have appointed for every Prophet enemies Shayātin (devils) among mankind and jinns, inspiring one another with adorned speech as a delusion (or by way of deception). If your Lord had so willed, they would not have done it, so leave them alone with their fabrications. (Tafseer Qurtubi, Vol.7, Page 67) (Al-An'am 6:112)

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: 'Two men came from the East and addressed the people who wondered at their eloquent speeches. On that, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Some eloquent speech is as effective as magic."' [Tran Sahih Al Bukhari (7/67) Hadith: 5146 & Bukhari: (7/71) Hadith: 662]

- Some speech is so beautiful it is like magic as mentioned in the above Hadith.
- You are not allowed to call the white man the devil and exclude the black man.
- There is no difference between the black devil and the white devil they are equally evil.
- Obama is bombing the Islamic state as we speak.
- To single out the white man; not the black man as the devil, you are a racist.

- The racist is the dung beetle that rolls the faeces.

Abu Huraira narrated the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Indeed Allah has removed from you the blind loyalties of jahiliyyah and the pride for ancestry. Be either a pious believer or a miserable sinner. (All of) you are children of Adam, and Adam is from dust. Let some men cease to take pride in others, who are nothing but burning coal for the Hell Fire, it will be easier for Allah to handle them than a dung beetle driving his nose into filth.” [Sunan Abu Dawud (4/331) No. 5116, Musnad Ahmad (2/361) No. 8721]

- If you give power and authority to the black kaafir, he proves himself to be worse than the white kaafir.

- Obama killed more Muslims with drones than Bush.
- He even killed the 16-year-old son of Anwar al-Awlaki.
- They called it collective punishment and it is against the Geneva Convention.

- Whether the kaafir is white or black, you have to hate them equally because their hearts are alike.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in the Qur'an Surah Al Baqarah verse 118

Their hearts are alike, we have indeed made plain the signs for people who believe with certainty. (Al-Baqarah 2:118)

Abu Dharr reported that once he went to the mosque and sat with the Prophet. He asked me, "Did you pray?" When I said no, he said, "Offer two rak'ah." When I again sat after finishing the prayer, he said, "Abu Dharr, seek refuge against the devils among men and jinn." I asked, "Are there devils among men also?" He said, "Yes." I asked him, "O Messenger of Allah, which is the greatest verse in the Qur'an?" He said, "The Verse of the Throne - (2:255)." {(Sunan An Nasa'i: (6/50) Hadith 5509) & Book 50 Hadith 80, Sunan An Nasa'i: (5507)} & {Jami At Tirmidhi: (1/42) Hadith 2884) & Book 45 Hadith 3122} & Imam Ahmad, Abu Hatim}

- In the above-mentioned Hadith, the prophet (ﷺ) told us there are shaitans from among humans and the Jinn.
