They answered, "We have already submitted before you."
He replied,
"You lie. That which keeps you from Islam
is your
calling upon what you claim is Allah's son, your worship
of the cross and your eating the flesh of the swine. "
They said, "If
Jesus is not the son of Allah, then who is his
father?"
And they both argued with him concerning Jesus
(AS),
but the Prophet (ﷺ) said to them, "Do
you not know that there is
no son who does not resemble his father?"
They said, "Yes."
He
replied, "Do You not know that our Lord is living and
does not die, and that Jesus (AS) will pass away?"
They said, "Yes."
He (ﷺ) then asked,
"Do you not know that our Lord is the
Guardian over
everything, that He protects it and supplies its
Needs?"
They said, "Yes."
He (ﷺ) said, "And
does Jesus (AS) possess any of these
(Qualities)?"
They replied, "No."
He (ﷺ) said, "And
did not our Lord fashion Jesus (AS) in
the womb as
He willed, while our Lord does not eat, drink or
excrete?"
They said, "Yes."
He (AS) asked,
"And do you not know that the mother of
Jesus (AS)
carried him in the same manner as any woman does,
then gave
birth to him as any woman gives birth to her son, then
he was fed
as any child is, then later he ate, drank and excreted?"

They said, 'Yes."
He (AS) asked;
"Then how can it be as you claim? They
Were
silent. Then Allah revealed the first 89 verses of Surat Al
'Imran concerning
them.
Except for those who repent after that and do
righteous deeds. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Aali Imran
