SURAH AL-ISRAA
THE 30 WAYS ALLAH PREFERRED MAN OVER THE REST OF HIS CREATION

وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ وَحَمَلْنَاهُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ وَرَزَقْنَاهُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَفَضَّلْنَاهُمْ عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقْنَا تَفْضِيلً
And indeed We have honoured the Children of Adam, and We have carried them on land and sea, and have provided them with At-Taiyibat (lawful good things), and have preferred them above many of those whom We have created with a marked preference. [70] [Al-Isrāa 17:70]
The tafseer of this ayah:
When Allah privileged Adam and his progeny, Iblees became envious of the preferment Allah had given mankind; he subsequently starts waging war against Adam and his progeny.
Allah has honored us in 30 different ways.
قَالَ
أَرَأَيْتَكَ هَٰذَا الَّذِي كَرَّمْتَ عَلَيَّ لَئِنْ أَخَّرْتَنِ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ
الْقِيَامَةِ لَأَحْتَنِكَنَّ ذُرِّيَّتَهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
[Iblis (Satan)] said: “See? This one whom You have honoured above me, if You give me respite (keep me alive) to the Day of Resurrection, I will surely seize and mislead his offspring (by sending them astray) all but a few!” [62] [Al-Isrāa 70:62]
17:62 talks about Iblees thinking he got a raw deal.
Iblees became on a war path with mankind.
Allah has allowed mankind to travel huge distances on land and sea by giving him the intellect.
At the time of the sahabas it would take
them a month to travel from Mecca to Jerusalem. Nowadays it’s a 2 hours flight.
Allah gave mankind the intellect to do so.
The sahabas could not comprehend fully a lot of the ayahs and hadiths. We can appreciate them more in this time.
For instance, the hadith that talks about the barefooted Bedouins competing with each other to make tall buildings can be seen nowadays in places like Dubai, Sharjah and even Makkah.
The tayibaat Allah talks about are halal
women and dwellings.
Imam Ahmed said that if man is able to
conquer his desires his status is above that of angels since angels have no
free will.
How did Allah prefer Adam/mankind over all creation?
THE 30 WAYS ALLAH PREFERRED MAN OVER THE
REST OF HIS CREATION
1) ALLAH CREATED MAN WITH HIS OWN HANDS
Allah didn’t create jinns with His own words.
The evidence that Allah created Adam with his own two hands is 38:75
َالَ يَا إِبْلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَن تَسْجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقْتُ بِيَدَيَّ ۖ أَسْتَكْبَرْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ الْعَالِينَ
(Allāh) said: “O Iblīs (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the highly exalted?” [75] [Sad 38:75]
This is why Iblees
spat and kicked Adam when he was laying lifeless.
2) HE (ALLAH) BLEW IN ADAM HIS RUH
The evidence for this is 15:29.
فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُوا لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ
“So,
when I have fashioned him completely and breathed into him (Adam) the soul
which I created for him, then fall (you) down prostrating yourselves unto him.”
(29) [Al Hijr 15:29]
3) ALLAH TAUGHT HIM THE NAMES OF EVERYTHING UNDER THE HEAVENS
The evidence for this is 2:31.
وَعَلَّمَ آدَمَ الْأَسْمَاءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلَائِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنبِئُونِي بِأَسْمَاءِ هَٰؤُلَاءِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
And He taught Adam all the names (of
everything) , then He showed them to the angels and said, “Tell Me the names of
these if you are truthful.” [31] [Al-Baqarah 2:31]
4) HE (ALLAH) PLACED ADAM IN HEAVEN
Adam was in heaven not paradise. This is an important point in Aqeedah.
وَقُلْنَا يَا آدَمُ اسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَكُلَا مِنْهَا رَغَدًا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلَا تَقْرَبَا هَٰذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
And We said: “O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the Zalimun (wrong-doers).” (35) [Al Baqarah 2:35]
5) ALLAH TOLD THE ANGELS TO BOW DOWN TO ADAM
إِذْ
قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ
حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
And (remember) when your Lord said to the
angels: “I am going to create a man (Adam) from sounding clay of altered black
smooth mud. [28] [Al-Hij’r
15:28]
فَإِذَا
سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُوا لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ
“So, when I have fashioned him completely
and breathed into him (Adam) the soul which I created for him, then fall (you)
down prostrating yourselves unto him.” [29] [Al-Hij’r15:29]
6) ALLAH MADE MAN AS HIS KHALIFAH
The evidence for this is 2:30.
وَإِذْ
قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً ۖ قَالُوا
أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ الدِّمَاءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ
بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ ۖ قَالَ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: “Verily, I am going to place (mankind) generations after generations on earth.” They said: “Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, – while we glorify You with praises and thanks (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners) and sanctify You.” He (Allah) said: “I know that which you do not know.” [30] [Al Baqarah 2:30]
Our aql is superior to the aql of all
creatures.
7) ALLAH BLESSED US WITH AQL
The evidence for this is 8:22.
إإِنَّ
شَرَّ الدَّوَابِّ عِندَ اللَّهِ الصُّمُّ الْبُكْمُ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
Verily! The worst of (moving) living creatures with Allah are the deaf and the dumb, those who understand not (i.e. the disbelievers). [22] [An-Anfāl 8:22]
This is why man is able to make modern
inventions such as microwaves, fridges, computers, phones, etc.
After that Allah says that if after being
given the aql you still don’t follow His deen you are the worse of creatures.
The worst creatures are the mushrikeen and
those who don’t use their aql because tawheed is the greatest reality.
8) ALLAH BLESSED ADAM AND EVE WITH HEAVENLY
CLOTHING
The evidence for this is 7:27
يَا بَنِي آدَمَ لَا يَفْتِنَنَّكُمُ
الشَّيْطَانُ كَمَا أَخْرَجَ أَبَوَيْكُم مِّنَ الْجَنَّةِ يَنزِعُ عَنْهُمَا
لِبَاسَهُمَا لِيُرِيَهُمَا سَوْآتِهِمَا ۗ إِنَّهُ يَرَاكُمْ هُوَ وَقَبِيلُهُ
مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا تَرَوْنَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا الشَّيَاطِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ
لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
O Children of Adam! Let not Shaitan (Satan) deceive you, as he got your parents [Adam and Hawwa (Eve)] out of Paradise, stripping them of their raiments, to show them their private parts. Verily, he and Qabiluhu (his soldiers from the jinns or his tribe) see you from where you cannot see them. Verily, We made the Shayatin (devils) Auliya’ (protectors and helpers) for those who believe not. [27] [Al-Araf7:27]
The reason why the shaitan tempted Adam to
eat from the haram tree was to see their heavenly clothing gone and so that he
(shaitan) could laugh at them.
He could laugh at your private parts.
The shaitan amongst mankind did the same
in Abu Ghraib prison.
Fidel Castro rubbed it in the faces of capitalists by having posters from the Abu Ghraib scandal outside the US embassy in Havana.
9) ALLAH GAVE YOU A CONSCIOUS TO KNOW GOOD FROM BAD
The evidence for this is 91:7-8
وَنَفْسٍ
وَمَا سَوَّاهَا
And by Nafs (Adam or a person or a soul,
etc.), and Him Who perfected him in proportion; [7] [Ash-Shams 91:7]
فَأَلْهَمَهَا
فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا
Then He showed him what is wrong for him and what is right for him; [91:8] [Ash-Shams91:8]
Everyone knows regardless of religion and
creed that murder, rape and genocide are bad.
This is called the conscience.
10) ALLAH MADE ALL MANKIND BORN MUSLIMS
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ, said, “No one is born except they are upon natural instinct, then his parents turn him into a Jew or Christian or Magian. As animals produce their young with perfect limbs, do you see anything defective?” (Muslim 2658)
The evidence from the Quran is 30:30
فَأَقِمْ
وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًا ۚ فِطْرَتَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ النَّاسَ
عَلَيْهَا ۚ لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ
وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
So set you (O Muhammad ﷺ) your face towards the religion of pure Islamic Monotheism Hanifa (worship none but Allah Alone) Allah’s Fitrah (i.e. Allah’s Islamic Monotheism), with which He has created mankind. No change let there be in Khalq-illah (i.e. the Religion of Allah Islamic Monotheism), that is the straight religion, but most of men know not. [30] [Ar-Rum30:30]
11) ALLAH MADE MANKIND WALK IN AN
UPRIGHT MANNER ON 2 FEET AND EAT WITH THEIR HANDS
Walking
on all four limbs and eating with one’s mouth, left hand or feet is not
honourable.
12)ALLAH MADE MAN THE MOST HANDSOME OF
HIS CREATION
The evidence for this
is 95:4
للَقَدْ
خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ
Verily, We created man of the best stature (mould), [4] [At Tin 95:4]
Musnad Ahmad: Abu Hurayra said, the Prophet said;” God created Adam, 60 arm length high and seven arm length wide.” And in Adam is 60 cubits high! [Sahih Muslim, Book 40, Number 6795]
Artists like Pablo, Picasso, Michelangelo
and Leonardo da Vinci who created many paintings that are considered as
masterpieces.
Allah’s masterpiece is man.
This hadith has been transmitted on the
authority of Abu Huraira and in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Ibn
Hatim Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) is reported to have said: When any one of you fights with his
brother, he should avoid his face for Allah created Adam in His own image.

6325}
13) ALLAH BLESSED US WITH SHYNESS
Shyness
is a natural instinct.
The evidence
for this is 21:121
فَأَكَلَا مِنْهَا فَبَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْآتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِن وَرَقِ الْجَنَّةِ ۚ وَعَصَىٰ آدَمُ رَبَّهُ فَغَوَىٰ
Then they both ate of the tree, and so their private parts appeared to them, and they began to stick on themselves the leaves from Paradise for their covering. Thus did Adam disobey his Lord, so he went astray. [121] [Tā Hā 20:121]
When the clothes of Adam and Eve were
removed, they instinctively put leaves to cover their private parts.
The people of the amazon jungle who are
naked are mostly impotent. There is no element of surprise when women go about
naked.
The moment you remove your clothes your
honour is gone.
Shyness is part of eeman.
Abu Huraira narrated the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Faith has over seventy branches or over sixty branches, the most excellent of which is the declaration that there is no god but Allah, and the humblest of which is the removal of what is injurious from the path: and modesty is the branch of faith.” [Al-Bukhari (8) and Muslim (56)]
A Muslimah doesn’t discuss her sex
secrets.
The kuffaar talk about their sex lives
with their friends and family.
The European culture has no shyness. It’s
an evil culture.
The kuffaar women sleep with celebrities
and then sell their stories to the tabloids.
You shouldn’t make love with your wife in
front of people. No one should be able to see you or hear you.
14) ALLAH BLESSED US WITH NUMEROUS AMOUNTS OF PROPHETS AND MESSENGERS
The evidence for this is 2:30
وَإِذْ
قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً ۖ قَالُوا
أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ الدِّمَاءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ
بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ ۖ قَالَ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُون
Not all humans will cause bloodshed. Among
them will be prophets and messengers to guide to the straight path.
This was the takfir of Ibn Katheer.
15) ALLAH REVEALED ONTO US BOOKS
AFTER BOOKS
Allah revealed the scrolls of Ibrahim, the psalms of David, the Torah to Musa, the Injeel to Isa and the Quran (free from imperfections and preserved for all times) to Muhammad (ﷺ)
There are no incongruities and corruption in the Quran.
This is the tafseer of ibn Katheer to
Allah’s saying to the angels: ” I know that which you know not” (2:30).
16)ALLAH HAS RAISED UP FROM US
SALIHOON, SIDIQOON, MURABITOON, MUJAHIDOON, SHOHADAH, DUAAT AND ULEMA
Some of the nabis of
Bani Israel are Samuel, Jeremiah and Daniel.
Who has more
popularity in the world and following today? Is it them of scholars such as
Imam Ahmed, Abu Hanifa, Ash Shafiee and Imam Malik
An Alim from the ummah of the Muhammad (ﷺ) is more influential than the prophets of Bani Israel.
Abu Hanifa has more people following his madhaab than the number of Jews in the world
We shouldn’t
underestimate the power of the ummah of Muhammad (ﷺ).
When Musa and Esa (as) heard about the ummah of Muhammad (ﷺ), they prayed to be amongst this ummah.
Esa’s (as) dua was answered and he will
come back, but not as a nabi.
43:61 is proof for return of Esa (as)
وَإِنَّهُ لَعِلْمٌ لِّلسَّاعَةِ فَلَا تَمْتَرُنَّ بِهَا وَاتَّبِعُونِ ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
And he [‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)] shall be a known sign for (the coming of) the Hour (Day of Resurrection) [i.e. ‘Iesa’s (Jesus) descent on the earth] . Therefore have no doubt concerning it (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). And follow Me (Allah) (i.e. be obedient to Allah and do what He orders you to do, O mankind)! This is the Straight Path (of Islamic Monotheism, leading to Allah and to His Paradise). [61] [Az-Zukhruf43:61]
Abu Hurayrah (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The Hour will not begin until the son of Maryam descends among you as a just ruler. He will break the cross, kill the pigs and abolish the jizyah, and money will become abundant until no one will accept it.” [Al-Bukhari (2222) and Muslim (155)]
All of the children of Adam (people) will decay except for the bone of coccyx (tailbone). From it he (man) was created and by it he will be reconstructed.” (Hadith from Bukhari)
Allah speaks about such people further in
4:69
وَمَن يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ ۚ وَحَسُنَ أُولَٰئِكَ رَفِيقًا
And whoso obeys Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad ﷺ), then they will be in the company of those on whom Allah has bestowed His Grace, of the Prophets, the Siddiqun (those followers of the Prophets who were first and foremost to believe in them, like Abu Bakr As-Siddiq), the martyrs, and the righteous. And how excellent these companions are! [69] [An Nisa4:69]

Tariq ibn Ziad was a teenager when he
conquered Andalusia (Siberia-Spain/Portugal)
17) ALLAH BLESSED US WITH HUMAN FACULTIES – SIGHT, HEARING, TASTING, FEELING AND SPEAKING
The evidence for this is 55:1-4
The Most Beneficent (Allah)! [Ar Rahman 55:1] الرَّحْمَٰنُ
Has taught (you mankind) the Quran (by His Mercy). [Ar Rahman 55:2] عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ
He created man. [Ar Rahman 55:3]خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ
He taught him eloquent speech. [Ar Rahman 55:4] عَلَّمَهُ الْبَيَانَ
Allah mentions the bayaan (speech)
Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: ‘Two men came from the East and addressed the people who wondered at their eloquent speeches. On that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Some eloquent speech is as effective as magic.”‘[Sahih Bukhari (7/19) No. 5146]
People create revolutions with bayaan. It
is more potent than the atom bomb.
With your bayaan you can effectively
invite the kuffaar to Islam.
With bayaan, the evil, wicked people seduce
women.
Bayaan is really powerful.
18) ALLAH BLESSED US WITH THE FURQAN. THE QURAN IS ALSO THE FURQAN.
Furqan is the distinguishing between haqq and bautil.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تَتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّكُمْ فُرْقَانًا وَيُكَفِّرْ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
O you who believe! If you obey and fear Allah, He will grant you Furqan a criterion [(to judge between right and wrong), or (Makhraj, i.e. making a way for you to get out from every difficulty)], and will expiate for you your sins, and forgive you, and Allah is the Owner of the Great Bounty. [29] [Al-Anfāl8:29]
