Satan did not obey Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ)
and bow down to Adam (SAWS), because he was not intellectually convinced.
-
He was the first Mutazalite (intellectualist).
- There are people who will never surrender to the hujjah unless they are intellectually convinced.
-
Satan was also the first racist and first to rebel against the Hakimiyyah of
Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ).
-
He believes in Tawheed Rububiyyah but not Tawhid Hakimiyyah.
- If Iblis did believe in Tawheed Hakimiyyah, he would have obeyed Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ).
LESSON # 10 (RECAP): IBLIS IS FILLED WITH ENVY AND JEALOUSY AND HE IS ON THE WARPATH
And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate unto Adam." They prostrated except Iblis (Satan). He said: "Shall I prostrate to one whom You created from clay?"
[Iblis (Satan)] said: "See? This one whom You have honoured above me, if You give me respite (keep me alive) to the Day of Resurrection, I will surely seize and mislead his offspring (by sending them astray) all but a few!" (Al-Isra 17:61-62)

Satan is on a warpath because he made a threat that he was going to mislead the
children of Adam (AS).
- He believes the Jinn race is superior to the human race
Verily, I will mislead them, and surely, I will
arouse in them false desires; and certainly, I will order them to slit the ears
of cattle, and indeed I will order them to change the nature created by
Allah." And whoever takes Shaitan (Satan) as a Wali (protector or helper)
instead of Allah, has surely suffered a manifest loss. (An-Nisa 4:119)

"watch this space" is an expression meaning "look at what I am
going to do, I will take revenge".

If a crime is unprecedented and the crime has made front-page news, you will
have copycats.

Every man wants his 15 minutes of fame.

When Iblees was not given the title of being Khalifa, his pride was hurt.

He said "I will lay ambush for the children of Adam (AS).

Atiyyah as-Sa'di reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Anger comes from the devil, the devil was
created of fire, and fire is extinguished only with water; so when one of you
becomes angry, he should perform ablution. [Sunan Abu Dawud (4/249) No. 4784

When you make Wudu and wash your nose with water, you are preventing infection.

When you wash your eyes, you are washing away the dust that settles there.
LESSON # 11: THE SHAITAN HAS NO RESPECT FOR ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالىٰ)

Shaitan has no respect for Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ).

Everything that is haram, they make it halal
LESSON # 12: SATAN AND HIS HENCHMEN RESORT TO
THREATS AND BLACKMAIL
Verily, I will mislead them, and surely, I will
arouse in them false desires; and certainly, I will order them to slit the ears
of cattle, and indeed I will order them to change the nature created by
Allah." And whoever takes Shaitan (Satan) as a Wali (protector or helper)
instead of Allah, has surely suffered a manifest loss. (An-Nisa 4:119)

They listen to your cell phone so they can tell if you are having an affair.

They have a dossier of every person.

If you do not toe the line of the freemasons and you upset them they knock on
your door and show you your file and tell you that your carrier will be in
total ruins.

They threaten you with bankruptcy and making you financially destroyed if you
do not adopt their way of thinking, their mentality or their creed.

The NSA (National Security Agency) even listens to the conversation of the
Brazilian President and Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany.

The Brazilian president was so upset that she cancelled a trip to the
Whitehouse.

People who believe in democracy have always been the evilest people in the
world.

LESSON # 13: SHAITAN HAS KNOWLEDGE BUT YOU CANNOT
CLASSIFY HIM AS A SCHOLAR
And of men and AdDawab (moving living creatures,
beasts, etc.), and cattle, in like manner of various colours. It is only those
who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allah. Verily, Allah is All Mighty,
Oft Forgiving. (Fatir 35:28)

The Ulama fear Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ)

If a scholar passes fatwas for an apostate king, he becomes a politician.

Ibn Taymiyya used to make takfir on the wicked scholars
"A scholar who abandons what has learnt from the
Quran and the Sunnah and follows a ruler who does not rule in accordance with
the teaching of Allah and His Messenger is an apostate and a disbeliever who
deserves punishment in this world and in the hereafter " [Fatawa Ibn
Taymiyyah, Volume 35/373]

Shaitan is firmly grounded in knowledge but he has no taqwa.

You cannot call Satan an alim because an Alim has taqwa.

Saleh al Fawzan passed a fatwa saying the greatest Jihad is to kill the
mujahideen.

He is passing fatwas to please the apostate king so you cannot say he is a
scholar.

He is a politician who is cementing the thrones of the apostate leaders.

You can take fiqh from Fawzan, like rules of menstruation, how to make wudu or
how to perform salah.

What you can’t take is aqeeda because he is a politician and no longer a
scholar.

There are 3 types of scholars.

The first type is a sinful scholar. For example, he may have a girlfriend.
-
The second type is a wicked scholar. He calls the mujahideen terrorists and
khawarij and he claims there is no jihad in the world, like Saleh al Fawzan
does.
-
The third type is a sincere scholar who calls for Al Wala wal Bara, kufr bi
taghoot, jihad, khilafa, sharia.
-
A sinful scholar is still a Muslim but a wicked scholar is a kaafir.

When shaikh was in Africa, he met scholars who smoke ganja (marijuana) and
scholars in Somalia who chew Khaat.

A wicked scholar calls the mujahideen "khawarij and terrorist".
-
Mujahideen cannot survive without the support of the local community.

Al Bouti of Syria was taken out because he preached Bashar al Assad was the
khalif.

He has no al wala wal bara.

They give their wala to the taghoot.

Tarik Ramadhan is another wicked scholar

If you want to call shaitan a scholar, you have to call him a WICKED scholar
because he uses his knowledge to corrupt.
Abu Dhar said, "I was with the Prophet (ﷺ) one day and I heard him saying: "There is
something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal." It was then that I became
afraid, so I said: "Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?" He (ﷺ) said; "Misguided and astray scholars."

Nazim al Haqqani is another shaitan who calls to grave worshipping.

It’s not a fiqh issue, its aqeeda.

Your dua is an act of Ibadah
Nu’man ibn Bashir (RA) narrated the Prophet (ﷺ) said,
“The supplication is itself worship.” Then he recited. And your Lord says,
“Call upon Me, and I shall answer you. Surely those who are too arrogant to
worship Me, they shall enter Hell, disgraced.” (40: 60)

1479, Ibn Majah (5/5) No. 3828, Ahmad (4/271) No. 18410]
Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam
from Ata ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
"O Allah! Do not make my grave an idol that is worshipped. The anger on
those who took the graves of their Prophets as places of prostration was
terrible." [Muwatta Malik (1/223) No. 570, Musannaf Abdur Razzaq (1/406)
No. 1587, Musnad Ahmad (2/246) No. 7352]

dunya.
And Shaitan (Satan) will say when the matter has been
decided: "Verily, Allah promised you a promise of truth. And I too
promised you, but I betrayed you. I had no authority over you except that I
called you, so you responded to me. So blame me not, but blame yourselves. I
cannot help you, nor can you help me. I deny your former act in associating me
(Satan) as a partner with Allah (by obeying me in the life of the world).
Verily, there is a painful torment for the Zalimun (polytheists and
wrong-doers, etc.)." (Ibrahim 14:22)

(Allah) said: "Go, and whosoever of them follows
you, surely! Hell will be the recompense of you (all) an ample recompense.
"And Istafziz [literally means: befool them gradually] those whom you can

disobedience), make assaults on them with your cavalry and your infantry,
mutually share with them wealth and children (by tempting them to earn money by
illegal ways usury, etc., or by committing illegal sexual intercourse, etc.),
and make promises to them." But Satan promises them nothing but deceit.
(Al-Isra 17:63-64)

The scholars say "sweet voice" in the above-mentioned ayah means
music.
And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e.
music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without
knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allah, the Verses of the Qur'an) by way of
mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire).
(Luqman 31:6)

The shaitan loves zina because any society in which zina becomes widespread,
murder becomes widespread.

If you seduce a man’s wife he will want to kill you.

Even if he does not love his wife, he will still want to kill you because you
hurt his pride.
And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along
with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause,
nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the
punishment. (Al-Furqan 25:68)

al-Harith that his father said: "I heard 'Uthman (RA) say: 'Avoid Khamr

al-Kubra al-Bayhaqi (8/500) No. 17339]

Shaitan uses gambling because it spreads enmity.

Las Vegas has a high crime rate because of gambling
O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic
drinks), gambling, AlAnsab, and Al Azlam (arrows for seeking luck or
decision) are an abomination of Shaitan's (Satan) handiwork. So avoid (strictly
all) that (abomination) in order that you may be successful. Shaitan (Satan)
wants only to excite enmity and hatred between you with intoxicants (alcoholic
drinks) and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah and from
As-Salat (the prayer). So, will you not then abstain?
(Al-Ma'idah 5:90-91)

Another thing shaitan uses to destroy mankind is Haste
-
Al Ajal (haste) is from the shaitan, you need to be cool calm and collected.
Don’t do things in haste.
Sahl ibn Sa’d Sa’idi reported that Allah’s Messenger
said, “Deliberation is from Allah, but haste is from the devil” [Sunan Tirmidhi
(4/367) No. 2012]

The worst form of corruption is shirk, so when a person’s heart is corrupted
with shirk there is nothing he will not do.

When a person is a mushrik, everything about the man becomes corrupted.
Evil (sins and disobedience of Allah, etc.) has
appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by
oppression and evil deeds, etc.), that Allah may make them taste a part of that
which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allah, and
begging His Pardon). (Ar-Rum 30:41)

This is why we have mad cow disease, because the cow is supposed to eat grass
but they fed it chicken and turned it in to a carnivore.
Narrated by Abu Hurayrah: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)
said: ‘When Allah created Adam and breathed the spirit into him, he (Adam
(as.)) sneezed and said, "Praise be to Allah." So he praised Allah by
His permission and his Lord said to him, "Allah have mercy on you, Adam.”
{Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 4662}
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
"Allah created Adam from dust after He mixed the clay and left him for
some time until it became sticky mud, after which Allah shaped him. After that
Allah left him till it became like potter's clay. Iblis used to go past him
saying 'You have been created for a great purpose.' After that Allah breathed
His spirit into him. The first thing into which the spirit passed was his eye
and then his nose. He sneezed. Allah said: "May your Lord have mercy upon
you, O Adam! Go to those angels and see what they would say.' So Adam went and
greeted them. They replied saying: "Peace be upon you and the mercy and
blessings of Allah." Allah said: "O Adam! This is your greeting and
that of your offspring." (Trans Sahih Al Bukhari Volume 8 book 74 number
246)
And (remember) when your Lord brought forth from the
Children of Adam, from their loins, their seed (or from Adam's loin his
offspring) and made them testify as to themselves (saying):
"Am I not your Lord?" They said: "Yes! We testify," lest
you should say on the Day of Resurrection: "Verily, we have been unaware
of this." (Al-A'raf 7:172)

Ignorance is not an excuse for those who worship a false deity in the dunya.

A parent can favour a child because of his handsomeness.

David was supposed to die at age 60; Adam (AS) said to give him 40 years of his
life so that David will live 100 years.

Parents don’t want their kids to die.

When people go for jihad they go by disobeying their parents. Al Khattab of
Chechnya said "had we listened to our parents none of us would be doing
jihad".
HOW DID ALLAH SWT HONOR ADAM (PBUH)
1-
He created Adam (AS) with His own two Hands
Mujahid narrated Abdullah ibn Umar (RA) said: “Allah
created four things with His Hand; 1. The Throne 2. The Pen 3. Adam and 4. The
paradise of ‘Adn. He then said to the rest of the creation ‘Kun’ [Be] and it
was.”
[Adh Dhahabi in ‘Mukhtasar al-‘Uluw’ (p105), Abu
al-Shaikh al-Asbahani in 'al-‘Adhuma' (5/1555), Tafsir al-Tabari (21/239), ‘The
chain is authentic according to the conditions of Muslim.’]

He blew into him the Rooh
3-
He taught him the names of everything under the heavens.
4-He
commanded the angels to bow down to Adam (AS).
5-
He put him in Jannah to live.
-
When Iblees saw how Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) honoured Adam (AS), he became furious.
-
The whole of mankind follow Iblees except a few sincere believers.
And indeed Iblis (Satan) did prove true his thought
about them, and they followed him, all except a group of true believers (in the
Oneness of Allah). (Saba' 34:20)
- The majority
of people will not believe in Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) and they will
hang on to kufr following Iblees.
Do they then feel secure from the coming against them
of the covering veil of the Torment of Allah, or of the coming against them of
the (Final) Hour, all of a sudden while they perceive not? (Yusuf 12:107)
And most of mankind will not believe even if you
desire it eagerly. (Yusuf 12:103)
Abu Huraira (RA) reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"Take my advice with regard to women: Act kindly towards women, for they
were created from a rib, and the most crooked part of a rib is its uppermost.
If you attempt to straighten it; you will break it, and if you leave it alone
it will remain crooked; so act kindly toward women." [Trans Sahih
Al-Bukhari Vol: 4 Book 60 Hadith 3331) and Muslim (1468)]
-
It’s your natural instinct to gravitate towards fruits.
-
That’s why he jumped to eat the fruit without anyone telling him to pick the
fruits.
-
We can pick out at least 17 lessons from the story of Adam (AS)

When Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ)
placed Adam (AS) in the garden he warned him about shaitan.
LESSON # 14: WHENEVER A MAN IS AN ENEMY TO YOU,
CONSEQUENTLY HE IS AN ENEMY TO YOUR WIFE
Then We said: "O Adam! Verily, this is an enemy
to you and to your wife. So let him not get you both out of Paradise, so that
you be distressed in misery. (Ta-Ha 20:117)
LESSON # 15: THE BURDEN TO PROVIDE FOOD, CLOTHING
AND SHELTER IS ON THE SHOULDERS OF THE MAN
Then We said: "O Adam! Verily, this is an enemy
to you and to your wife. So let him not get you both out of Paradise, so that
you be distressed in misery. (Ta-Ha 20:117)

In paradise these things are provided and they are ample, but otherwise you
will have to fend for yourself.
Verily, you have (a promise from Us) that you will
never be hungry therein nor naked. (Ta-Ha 20:118)
Then Shaitan (Satan) whispered to him, saying:
"O Adam! Shall I lead you to the Tree of Eternity and to a kingdom that
will never waste away?" (Ta-Ha 20:120)
LESSON # 16: SHAITAN WAS COURTEOUS WHEN HE WAS
TEMPTING ADAM ((ﷺ))

He used courtesy to hide treachery.
-
The British used this to colonize half of the world.
-
The British said "we conquered so many countries; the sun does not set on
the British Empire".
-
Shaitan called the tree "shajarat al khuld" (tree of eternity)
-
They call prostitution "business” or the “sex industry", they call a
bastard child "a love child" and a homosexual "gay".
-
The shaitan used this strategy with Adam (AS).
-
Iblees knows that we fear death; it’s our natural instinct to fear it.
-
So he played on the fear factor and said "if you eat from that tree you
cannot die".
-
If you can manipulate the fear factor, you can control the person.
-
Politicians in America do the same thing: exploiting the fear factor.
-
You need to know the weaknesses of your enemy to exploit them.
LESSON # 17: DONT UNDER ESTIMATE THE POWER OF WORDS
-
Some speech is as effective as black magic.
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: 'Two men came from the East and
addressed the people who wondered at their eloquent speeches. On that the
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Some eloquent speech
is as effective as magic."' [Tran Sahih Al Bukhari Vol: 7 Book 67 No. 5146]

Hitler had the whole of Germany under his spell with words.
-
People will always hide behind swearing by Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ),
to deceive you
And he [Shaitan (Satan)] swore by Allah to them both
(saying): "Verily, I am one of the sincere well wishers for you
both." (Al-A'raf 7:21)
They have made their oaths a screen (for their
hypocrisy). Thus they hinder (men) from the Path of Allah. Verily, evil is what
they used to do.
(Al-Munafiqun 63:2)
LESSON # 18: DONT ACCEPT EVERY INVITATION

The downfall of Adam (AS) was food. Be careful what you eat, don’t accept every
offer.

It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri (RA) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say, “Do not keep company with anyone but a believer and do not let anyone eat your food but one who is pious.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/600) No. 2395, Sunan Abu Dawood (4/259) No. 4832, Musnad Ahmad (3/38) No. 11355]

Food was the downfall of Adam (AS).

When a child is a victim of paedophilia, he blames the parents.
- Children of that crime blame their parents.
- Adam (AS) did not expect Iblees to swear by Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) and lie but Adam (AS) cannot blame anyone but himself because Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) warned him.
Then We said: "O Adam! Verily, this is an enemy
to you and to your wife. So let him not get you both out of Paradise, so that
you be distressed in misery. (Ta-Ha 20:117)
