THE 20 LAWS OF NATURE

APRIL 21, 2014 / 22 JUMADA AL AKHIRAH 1435 HIJRI

-Nature has its own laws, and whenever we do not comply with nature, we only bring harm to ourselves.

-You have to surrender to the laws of nature, willingly or unwillingly.

-If you want to urinate and you delay it, it will destroy your bladder.

-You need to surrender to the laws of nature

-The laws of nature are numerous and various.
-Some laws are connected to Biology, Anatomy, Physics, Chemistry, sociology, psychology.

-As far the laws e.g. water freezes at 0 degrees Celsius, these laws will not be focused upon, only the laws that are relevant for you to be a proper Muslim will be looked at.

-Another law, Light travels at 186,000 miles per second.

-Another law, matter cannot be created or destroyed by man.
-Species do not cross; a man cannot impregnate a donkey.

WHAT ARE THE 20 LAWS OF NATURE?

#1 WE REAP WHAT WE SOW

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Qur’an Surah An Nisa verse 79

Whatever of good reaches you, is from Allah, but whatever of evil befalls you, is from yourself. And We have sent you (O Muhammad ﷺ) as a Messenger to mankind, and Allah is Sufficient as a Witness. (An-Nisa 4:79)

-When the Muslims lost at the battle of Uhud, it was their own doing, because they disobeyed the Prophet (ﷺ)

-Have you heard about the foot and mouth disease, mad cow disease, STDs that is because you reap what you sow. All these diseases are because of evil hand works of man.

Whenever man deviates from the law of nature to the extent that he fed the cows meat to eat, he does that to his own detriment.  

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah Ar Rum verse 41

Evil (sins and disobedience of Allah, etc.) has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds, etc.), that Allah may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allah, and begging His Pardon). (Ar-Rum 30:41)

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah An Najm verse 39

And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad), (An-Najm 53:39)

In the above ayah, it shows you will reap what you sow.

#2 WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND

Stay chaste and your women will be chaste and save yourself from that which is unfit for a Muslim. Verily, adultery is a debt, if you have taken this debt; know that its payment will be taken from the people of your household. One who commits adultery, in return adultery will be committed with him, even though it will be committed against the wall of your house. O man! If you are wise, then you should know it (Diwan Ash-Shafi'i)

-The above statement is a fatwa of Imam Shafi'i (RA) and shows what goes around comes around.

-Whenever a man is having an affair, he thinks that his wife is having an affair.

#3 OPPOSITE GENDERS ATTRACTS

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Qur’an Surah Ar Rum verse 21

And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect. (Ar-Rum 30:21)

"I marry women. Whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not of me.” (Trans Sahih al Bukhari (Arabic/English) Vol 7 Book 67 hadith 5063. Sahih-Muslim, English translation Vol 2 pg 703 No.3236)

-The Europeans have gone against the law of nature they allow women to marry women and men to marry men. Whenever a nation goes against the law of nature they sow the seeds of their own destruction.

#4 WHAT GOES UP WILL EVENTUALLY COME DOWN

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah Ar A'raf verse 34

And every nation has its appointed term; when their term is reached, neither can they delay it nor can they advance it an hour (or a moment). (Al-A'raf 7:34)

-Where is the Coptic, Persian, byzantine, USSR empire? They are all in the dustbin of history, because what goes up will eventually come down.

#5 A HUNGRY MAN IS AN ANGRY MAN

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah Al Balad verse 12 to 16

And what will make you know the path that is steep? (It is) Freeing a neck (slave, etc.). Or giving food in a day of hunger (famine), To an orphan near of kin. Or to a Miskin (poor) afflicted with misery. (Al-Balad 90: 12-16)

-This is why in the US, UK and Canada, they have welfare, income support and food stamps. They don’t want people to rebel.

6# WE NEED TO RESIST TO EXIST

-Party of Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) and the Party of Shaitan is a never-ending battle

-In the world there is Hizbu Allah (party of Allah) and Hizbu Shaitan (party of shaitan)

-The battle between these two parties is a never-ending battle
-In order for you to exist as an ummah, you need to resist to exist

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah Al Baqarah verse 251 

And if Allah did not check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief. But Allah is full of Bounty to the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (Al-Baqarah 2:251)

-This law is called the law of repelling
- If we did not repel one set of people by another there would be destruction
- America cannot invade Syria because Russia and China says no

- Syria needs to be invaded because Assad is a Shia and he kills Sunnis

- The world would be full of mischief if one set of people didn't keep the other in check
- There would be total mayhem
- This is the law of nature
-so you need to resist to exist
-you need to resist in order to exist

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah Al Hajj verse 40

Those who have been expelled from their homes unjustly only because they said: "Our Lord is Allah." - For had it not been that Allah checks one set of people by means of another, monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, wherein the Name of Allah is mentioned much would surely have been pulled down. Verily, Allah will help those who help His (Cause). Truly, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty. (Al-Hajj 22:40)

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Qur’an Surah Al Anfal verse 73

And those who disbelieve are allies to one another, (and) if you (Muslims of the whole world collectively) do not do so (i.e. become allies, as one united block with one Khalifah - chief Muslim ruler for the whole Muslim world to make victorious Allah's Religion of Islamic Monotheism), there will be Fitnah (wars, battles, polytheism, etc.) and oppression on earth, and a great mischief and corruption (appearance of polytheism). (Al-Anfal 8:73)

- All these ayahs prove the point of one set of people check the other to stop mischief on the earth.
- Resist to exist.
- So, when you have no khilafa you cease to exist as an ummah.

- We have become nation's states. We are not an ummah anymore.
- Every nation looking after its own interests
- Pakistan had a pm who said he doesn't think the caliphate will come back

- He said this because he is jahil

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "There shall be Prophethood (nubuwwa) among you for as long as Allah wishes it to be among you. Then it shall be lifted up when Allah wishes to lift it up. Then there shall be successorship (khilâfa) on the pattern (minhâj) of Prophetship for as long as Allah wishes it to be. Then it shall be lifted up when Allah wishes to lift it up. Then there shall be a trying kingship (mulkan 'âddan) for as long as Allah wishes it to be. Then it shall be lifted up when Allah wishes to lift it up. Then there shall be a tyrannical kingship (mulkan jabriyyatan) for as long as Allah wishes it to be. Then it shall be lifted up when Allah wishes to lift it up. kingship (mulkan jabriyyatan) for as long as Allah wishes it to be. Then it shall be lifted up when Allah wishes to lift it up. Then there shall be successorship on the pattern of Prophetship." [Musnad Ahmad (4/273) No. 18430 with a sound chain and as indicated by al-Haythami in 'Majma al-Zawaid' (5/341) No. 8960]

7) HE WHO FAILS TO PREPARE SHOULD BE PREPARED TO FAIL

- If you have an exam and you do not study you should prepare to fail

- You have to study for your driver's licence

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah Asr.

By Al-'Asr (the time). (1) Verily! Man is in loss, (2) Except those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth (i.e. order one another to perform all kinds of good deeds (Al-Ma'ruf)which Allah has ordained, and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds (Al-Munkar)which Allah has forbidden) and recommend one another to patience (for the sufferings, harms, and injuries which one may encounter in Allah's Cause during preaching His religion of Islamic Monotheism or Jihad, etc.).(3) (Al-'Asr 103:1-3)

- We have an exam to sit in the grave
- The two angels will examine you
- Jews nor Christians will not be able to answer the questions
- What about the pantheists?

- They say everything you see is Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ)
- The Greek word *pan* means all

- The monkey, donkey, elephant, goat is Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ)
- That is the pantheist. What a dodgy ideology.
- You will have to answer three questions in the grave.
- The kuffar will not be able to answer these three questions

-These questions are so important Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab wrote a book Usool ath thalatha

-Usool ath thalatha - The three principles of Islam (who is your Lord, What is your religion? Who is your Prophet?

Bara (RA) reported from the Prophet (ﷺ) about this verse: "Allah keeps the believer's firm with the stable word in the worldly life and in the Hereafter." (14:27) He explained that this has reference to the grave when it is asked, “Who is your Lord? What is your religion and who was your Prophet?” [Bukhari 1369, Muslim 2871, Abu Dawud 4750, Tirmidhi 3131, Nisai 2056, Ibn e Majah 4269]

- You have to be prepared for the exam in the grave

-The best preparation you can take with you is Taqwa.
- You journey is from the womb to the tomb
- Taqwah is the best thing you can take with you on this journey

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah 197

And take a provision (with you) for the journey, but the best provision is At-Taqwa (piety, righteousness, etc.). So, fear Me, O men of understanding! (Al-Baqarah 2:197)

-  Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) revealed 2:197 because some people went to Hajj with no provision and decided to beg from other people.

- Any journey you go on, take provision.
- Taqwah is the best provision

8) HASTE MAKES WASTE

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah Al Isra verse 11

And man invokes (Allah) for evil as he invokes (Allah) for good and man is ever hasty [i.e., if he is angry with somebody, he invokes (saying): "O Allah! Curse him, etc." and that one should not do, but one should be patient]. (Al-Isra 17:11)

Sahl ibn Sa’d Sa’idi reported that Allah’s Messenger said, “Deliberation is from Allah, but haste is from the devil”. [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/367) No. 2012]

-Everything on the high street is ‘while you wait’. Man doesn’t want to be told come back tomorrow.

-If man wants something, he wants it now.

9) NECESSITY KNOWS NO LAW

- If someone forces you at gunpoint to drink alcohol and eat pork you may
- You may not sodomise a man at gun point, you have to die.

- You have to die and hope to be a shahid

-When the kuffar where beating Ammar ibn Yasir, he apostated with his tongue to save his life so Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) revealed 16:106.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah Al Nahl verse 106

Whoever disbelieved in Allah after his belief, except him who is forced thereto and whose heart is at rest with Faith but such as open their breasts to disbelief, on them is wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a great torment. (An-Nahl 16:106)

-This is because necessity knows no law

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah Al An'am verse 145

Say (O Muhammad ﷺ) : "I find not in that which has been inspired to me anything forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it, unless it be Maytatah (a dead animal) or blood poured forth (by slaughtering or the like), or the flesh of swine (pork, etc.) for that surely is impure, or impious (unlawful) meat (of an animal) which is slaughtered as a sacrifice for others than Allah (or has been slaughtered for idols, etc., or on which Allah's Name has not been mentioned while slaughtering). But whosoever is forced by necessity without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits, (for him) certainly, your Lord is Of Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Al-An'am 6:145)

- The above mentioned ayat was revealed about ibn Yasir he apostate with his tongue but not with his heart.

- If you are allowed to eat pork to save your life, this tells you that necessity knows no law.

-If a kafir holds a gun at your head and lets you to apostate you can apostate with your tongue because your heart is already filled with imam

10) NECESSITY IS THE MOTHER OF ALL INVENTIONS

- The car. airplane and computer have become a necessity

- For some people a microwave is a necessity
- The motor bike also because you can avoid traffic jams
- The washing machine is a necessity for a woman with children in order to wash the clothes

11) SIMILAR PERSONALITIES ATTRACT

- When a woman gets a proposal, before she says yes, she asks for a sit down
- She has a long list of questions
- To see if they are compatible
- They don't want someone to cause them stress or have a nervous breakdown

- They way the brother replies to the questions the sister will know whether or not the brother will cause her a nervous breakdown
- The brother wants someone who will not cause his beard to turn white
- Stress causes tumour, cancer and diabetes
- Maybe the sister wants to make hijra to Makkah or Medina

- If the brother does not want to, the sister will say this brother is not for me
- Maybe the brother wants her to give up her career, stay home and wear niqab on the road
- Maybe he doesn't want her to leave the home
- Maybe for her to give up her studies

- Many sisters end up in the mental homes because of the marriage

-People are attracted to similar personalities because they don’t want stress in their lives and you are not allowed to marry anyone unless you are compatible.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ)  said in the Quran Surah Ar Rum verse 21

And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect. (Ar-Rum 30:21)

- You have to marry someone who you are compatible with
- For a bad marriage the exit strategy is divorce
- You should find comfort in each other, not stress
- Even Abu Bakr (RA) and Umar (RA) got divorced

- You should not feel ashamed to get divorced
- You should not feel ashamed if you get refused a marriage proposal
- Even Abu Bakr (RA) and Umar (RA) were turned down
- Marriage is just a contract, if someone broke the contract you damp them.
- Umm Salama (RAA) turned Abu Bakr (RA) and Umar (RA) down

- The Prophet (ﷺ) proposed and she accepted
- She said she had three reservations

- She thought she was old, jealous and had kids
- The Prophet (ﷺ) said he wanted to marry her to be a father to her kids

-Umm Salama was one of the three wives of the prophet to memorise the entire Quran

12) APPRECIATION IS MOTIVATION

- Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said he will never allow your good deeds to go to waste

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah Al Baqarah verse 143

And Allah would never make your faith (prayers) to be lost (i.e. your prayers offered towards Jerusalem). Truly, Allah is full of kindness, the Most Merciful towards mankind. (Al-Baqarah 2:143)

- If a woman knows her husband likes her food, she always wants to cook for him
- Appreciation is motivation
- Many verses state Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) saying He would not allow your good deeds to go to waste

- Why did prince Charles prefer Camilla over Diana?
- Diana did not laugh at his jokes
- If you don't laugh at your husband's jokes he may take offense
- When someone knows you appreciate their work, you motivate them

13) TOO MANY WAR-FRONTS DESTROYS AN ARMY AND A COUNTRY

-Hitler invaded 23 countries

-Hitler invaded Russia, UK and US simultaneously
-The treaty of Hudaibiya was victory because it stated ten years no war

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah Al Fath

Verily, We have given you (O Muhammad ﷺ) a manifest victory. (Al-Fath 48:1)

- Umar (RA) did not like the treaty of Hudaibiya
- It is insanity to open too many war fronts, it's an ultimate suicide
- Bush bankrupted America with many wars
- Hitler and Bush are the same coin, different sides

- People ask why sheikh allowed al Muhajiroon to take the mica in the room
- They believe in Jihad and Shariah
- We agree on 99% with al Muhajiroon
- Where did they go wrong?

- They have a slight problem in Manhaj: they call for shariah in Darul Harb
- They should call for Tawheed
- This is not an Aqeedah issue, it’s a Manhaj issue

-They believe democracy is the greatest shirk

-They believe in Tawheed Hakimiya

-Al Muhajiroon are inside the fold of Islam, Madkhalis are outside the fold of Islam

-Al Muhajiroon love Muslims, Madkhalis hate Muslims
- You cannot compare them to Madkhalis
- Madkhalis hate Muslims

- They are in bed with the Taghut

14) SINS CAUSE NATURAL DISASTERS

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Qur’an Surah Ash Shams verse 14

Then they denied him and they killed it. So their Lord destroyed them because of their sin and made them equal in destruction (i.e. all grades of people, rich and poor, strong and weak, etc.)! (Ash-Shams 91:14)

“Anas (RA) says, “I went into the presence of Aishah (RA) whilst someone else was seated with her. The person asked, ‘O Mother of the believers, relate to us regarding earthquakes (as to their cause)’ She turned her face away. I (Anas) asked her, ‘Relate to us regarding earthquakes, O Mother of the believers!’ She said, “O Anas, if I were to inform you thereof, you will live a sorrowful life and you will die in this state of grief and you will be raised on the Day of Judgement whilst this fear is in your heart.” I said, “O Mother, relate to me.” She then said, “When a woman removes her clothes in a house other than her husbands (an indication towards adultery), she tears the veil between her and Allah. When she applies perfume to please a male other than her husband, this will be a source of fire and a blemish for her. When the people then begin to commit adultery, consume alcohol and use musical instruments, Allah becomes enraged above the heavens and orders the Earth to shake them. If they repent and refrain, then it is good for them, otherwise Allah will cause it to fall upon them.” I asked, “Is this their punishment?” She said, “It is rather a mercy, means of blessings and admonishment for the believers, and a punishment, display of anger and torment for the unbelievers.” [Mustadrak al-Haakim (4/561) No. 8575 and Kitab Al-Fitan (2/619) No. 1729]

- The ayat tells you that sins cause disasters

15) WHEN THE SUPPLY INCREASES DEMAND DECREASES AND PRICES DROP

16) A FOOL WILL SOON LOSE HIS MONEY

- In sharia it is haram to give a fool money to spend

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah An Nisa verse 5

And give not unto the foolish your property which Allah has made a means of support for you, but feed and clothe them therewith, and speak to them words of kindness and justice. (An-Nisa 4:5)

-If it is $1 or $5 then it’s ok because you can afford to lose it, not $500 or $5000

17) KNOWLEDGE WITH NO WISDOM IS A RECIPE FOR DISASTER

- You need to know how to apply the knowledge you learn.

-You cannot give all the knowledge to the people because some people can’t cope with the knowledge

-Abu Huraira (RA) took some knowledge with him to the grave

Narrated By Abu Huraira: I have memorized two kinds of knowledge from Allah's Apostle. I have propagated one of them to you and if I propagated the second, then my pharynx (throat) would be cut (i.e. killed). [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 1, Book 3, Hadith #121]

- Some people cannot cope with the fatwa of Uthaymeen on killing the children of the kuffar if they kill yours.

18) MIGHT WITH NO WISDOM IS A RECIPE FOR DISASTER

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Qur’an Surah Al Jumu'ah

Whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is on the earth glorifies Allah, the King (of everything), the Holy, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (Al-Jumu'ah 62:1)

-You need wisdom in order not to abuse the power.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah Al Baqarah verse 269

He grants Hikmah to whom He pleases, and he, to whom Hikmah is granted, is indeed granted abundant good. But none remember (will receive admonition) except men of understanding. (Al-Baqarah 2:269)

19) NO MONEY NO HONEY

- Which woman will accept your proposal if you have no means?

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah An Nisa 34

Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means. against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Allah is Ever Most High, Most Great. (An-Nisa 4:34)

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (RA) narrated: We went out with Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) while we were young men and we were unable to do anything (that is, not even afford marriage). He said, “O Group of young men! It is incumbent that you marry for it protects the eye and the private parts. So, he among you who cannot marry, let him fast, for, fasting dries up (lust)”. [Tirmidhi 1083, Ahmed 4023, Bukhari 1905, Muslim 1400, Abu Dawud 2046, Nisai 3206, Ibn e Majah 1845]

20) POVERTY CAUSES CRIME AND CRIME CAUSES POVERTY

- When a country is known for being the murder capital of the world, no one will invest there
- This place will be condemned to poverty

21) PRIDE IS THE FIRST DISGRACE

- When you have pride, you reject the truth
- Pride causes you to swim against the tide
- Those who swim against the tide will drown
- This was the plight of Nimrod, Pharaoh, and Abu Jahl

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) said in the Quran Surah Luqman verse 18

"And turn not your face away from men with pride, nor walk in insolence through the earth. Verily, Allah likes not each arrogant boaster. (Luqman 31:18)

22) ABSENCE MAKES THE HEART GROW FONDER

- It's not good to smother a person.

- you should give them their space
- Asian women like to be smothered

23) FAMILIARITY BREEDS CONTEMPT

- You are not allowed to overstay your welcome

It was narrated that Abu Shurayh al-‘Adawi said: I heard with my own two ears and I saw with my own two eyes when the Prophet (ﷺ) spoke and said: “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honour his neighbour; whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honour his guest as he is entitled.” It was said, ‘What is his entitlement, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “[The best treatment] for one day and one night; and hospitality is for three days, and anything after that is charity bestowed upon him. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him, speak good words or else remain silent.” [Sahih Bukhari (8/11) No. 6019]

Abu Shurayh Khuwaylid ibn 'Amr al-Khuza'i said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), say, 'Anyone who believes in Allah and the Last Day should honour his guest as his due.' They said, 'What is his due, Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'A day and a night. Hospitality is for three days, and what is beyond that is sadaqa for him.'" [Al-Bukhari (6019) and Muslim (48]
